To increase awareness of cancer and create an enabling environment for adoption and practice of evidence-based cancer management, surveillance and research. Goal
As stated on the WHO global framework for NCDs, the goal is to reduce cancer morbidity and mortality by 25% by 2022.

The Ministry of Health, through the National Cancer Control Unit, is proud to mark this important day and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and care.
