“Softly, the armor is laid on the ground,
In quiet and stillness, true power is found.
I breathe in the healing, I breathe out the past,
Reclaiming the pieces that needed to last.
I give myself license to pause and be still,
To quiet the striving, to rest at my will.
For tending the spirit and nursing the soul,
Is how I, unbroken, can show up made whole.
Let the racing mind settle, let the shoulders drop low,
There is grace in the rhythm of taking things slow.
I am worthy of comfort, of space to just “be,”
In this gentle surrender, I am healing for me.”
