OVERTHINKING? BREATHE HERE.

When your mind is racing, sometimes the first place to bring your attention is back to your body.

In this simple practice, we position the hands over the lower belly and use the breath to bring awareness down into the body.

It’s a simple way to pause, slow things down and create a little more space between you and the thoughts running through your head.

Try it with me — slow down, breathe into the lower belly, and let the body do what it naturally knows how to do.

POOR POSTURE? TRY THIS!

If you’re in your 40s, 50s or 60s and you’re noticing that your posture isn’t what it used to be, try this simple 40-second starting position.

Before getting into Zhan Zhuang, we first work on the basics:

✓ Ground the feet
✓ Relax the hips
✓ Let the body align naturally
✓ Then breathe and settle

You don't need to know anything about Qigong or Zhan Zhuang to try this.

It's simply about giving your body a better starting position before you move — or stand quietly.

Try it for 40 seconds and notice how your body feels.

TIME

05/08/2026

Have you ever noticed that when life gets busy, the weeks seem to disappear? One minute it's Monday, and the next it's Friday. But when you slow down—really slow down—something interesting happens. Time seems to expand.

Qigong teaches us to become fully present. To breathe deeply. To move with awareness instead of rushing from one thing to the next. When your mind isn't constantly racing ahead, you begin to notice the small things: the feeling of your breath, the warmth of the sun, the sound of the wind, the rhythm of your body.

It's not that time actually slows down—it's that your experience of time changes. You stop living on autopilot and start living in the present moment. And that's where life truly happens.

If you've been feeling like life is flying by, don't try to do more. Try doing less, with more awareness.

Slow your breath.
Slow your movements.
Slow your mind.

You may discover that when you slow your life down, it feels like you've been given more time—not because the clock has changed, but because you have.

If this resonates with you, subscribe for more Qigong, breathwork, and ancient practices to help you reconnect with yourself.

Your posture tells the story of your daily habits.

Hours spent looking at phones, computers, or carrying stress can gradually pull the body forward, creating tension, stiffness, and fatigue.

The good news? Your body can change.

Qigong is a gentle practice that helps restore natural alignment through mindful movement, breathing, and relaxation. With regular practice, you'll not only stand taller—you may also feel calmer, breathe more deeply, and move with greater ease.

Small movements. Big changes.

How does your posture feel today?
