Life is short.
Go all in.
Do your best.

I’ve been thinking more about the brevity of life lately, especially with recent tragedies and seeing people around me fall sick. For someone like me who tends to be risk-averse, “going all in” does not always come naturally. I can hold back. I can overthink. I can be cautious.

And sometimes, that caution is wisdom.

But lately, I’ve also been sensing that there are areas where I need to challenge myself to live more fully, give more freely, and stop holding back so much.

To invest in things that genuinely bring joy, without being careless or irresponsible.
To invest in meaningful experiences and give my time more fully to people in my life.

And recently, more motivated to keep sharing what I’m learning through God’s Word instead of keeping it to myself. It takes effort and time to do all of that. It is not financially rewarding for sure, But I know it is part of my calling, part of who God has made me to be, and I believe it will be worth it.

The same goes for sharing what I’ve learned about health stewardship, mindset, and whole-person wellness. Not because I need anything in return, but because even if it helps or encourages one person, that matters.

So I’m challenging myself: Where do I need to go all in more? And maybe that’s a question for you too.
Where do you need to challenge yourself to go all in?
Is it your health - and which areas? Your movement? Your nutrition? Your rest?

Life is short. But it is also a gift.
Let’s steward it well

Always cheering you on,
Coach Siree

Not all injuries come from training…
Some come from a 10kg French bulldog with no brakes 💥🚀

I was just vacuuming.
Meanwhile… my French bulldog was getting WAY too excited.

Next thing I know
💥 full-speed collision into my ankle.

And just like that… swelling. It hurt so badly that my hubby insisted I get an X-ray.
Thankfully, it’s just a soft tissue injury.

But here’s the reminder:
We don’t just train for sport,
we train for life.

Because life is unpredictable…
(and sometimes comes with a French bulldog 😄)

What matters is how we respond:
• Reduce inflammation early
• Keep gentle movement
• Support recovery (Rest, Ice for the 1st day followed by heat for the next few days, Compression and Elevation)

So if this ever happens to you (supposedly it’s pretty common since they are such Velcro dogs with no sense of personal space), here’s what you need to do:

First 24–48 hours:

1. Reduce swelling
• Elevate your ankle (above heart level if possible)
• Light compression (elastic bandage, not too tight)

2. Ice (the first 24 hrs)
• 15–20 minutes every 2–3 hours
• Helps control inflammation early

3. Gentle movement
• Don’t immobilize completely
• Slowly move your ankle (circles, flex/point) to prevent stiffness

I’m using red light therapy to also support the healing.

Feedback isn’t always comfortable but helpful feedback should always be satisfying.

Just like a workout set:
❌ Pain without purpose = injury
✅ Discomfort with intention = growth

The same applies beyond the gym:
❌Feedback that tears down identity → harmful
✅ Feedback that targets growth areas → valuable

Be someone who knows to give receive and give feedback that leads to growth.

Work hard, be a blessing, and never take yourself too seriously!

We’re so quick to move the goalpost or chase what’s next.
Too quick that we forget how far we’ve already come.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is … take a step back.

Look at your life now not through the lens of pressure, expectations, or what’s still missing, but as if you were your younger self. Maybe even your high school self!

Would she be proud of you?
Of how you kept going even when it was hard?
Of the courage it took to make certain decisions?
Of the growth, the resilience, the faith?

Today, try to pause and step back.
And let gratitude fill the space where striving usually lives.

You’re not who you used to be.
And that is something worth celebrating. 🤍
