It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the passing of our coach, our friend, and our family, Leroy. 🖤
Leroy was so much more than a coach to all of us.
If there was one thing that defined him, it was his willingness to HELP OTHERS. To help someone move better, become stronger, believe in themselves, achieve something they didn’t think they could, or simply be there when someone needed him.
That was Leroy.
And for Ontrack, he meant even more.
Leroy was there from day one.
Back in 2019, when we had nothing fancy. Just ideas, a vision, and a belief in what we wanted to create for the community. Leroy jumped on the boat with us and believed in what Ontrack could become before there was much to believe in.
Since then, he has coached, supported, encouraged and impacted more people in our community than we could ever count.
So much of the Ontrack we know today carries a piece of him.
It is incredibly difficult to imagine our training floor without him. His voice, his energy, his smile, his willingness to jump in and help, whether you were an athlete, a beginner, another coach, or simply someone who walked through our doors.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, and everyone who loved him during this incredibly difficult time.
We will share more details regarding the ceremonial arrangements when the family is ready. For now, we ask everyone to give them the time and space they need.
Thank you, Leroy.
For believing in us when we were just getting started.
For growing alongside us.
For giving so much of yourself to our people.
For always being there to help.
You took us so far, Leroy. 🕊️
You will always be part of our story.
You will always be part of our community.
And you will always be Ontrack. 🖤
Rest easy, Coach Leroy.
We’ll keep moving forward together, for you. 🙏🏻
