Experience the Spirit of Japanese Tradition – YaBuSaMe at Omi Shrine

คุณเคยรู้ไหมว่า…
ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น มีพิธีโบราณที่นักธนูจะยิงธนู ขณะขี่ม้าที่กำลังวิ่งด้วยความเร็ว ?
พิธีนี้เรียกว่า “ยาบุซาเมะ” (流鏑馬)
เป็นพิธีที่งดงามและน่าประทับใจ ที่รวมทั้งความเร็ว ทักษะ และจิตวิญญาณเข้าไว้ด้วยกัน
ทุกปีในช่วงต้นเดือนมิถุนายน
ที่ ศาลเจ้าโอมิ (Omi Shrine เมืองโอสึ ใกล้เมืองเกียวโต)
จะมีการจัดพิธีศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้ขึ้น
ในปี 2026 ได้จัดขึ้นในวันที่ 7 มิถุนายน
เริ่มพิธีทางศาสนาเวลา 12:30 น. และตามด้วยการแสดงยิงธนูบนหลังม้าเวลา 13:00 น.
พิธีนี้มีประวัติยาวนานกว่า 1,300 ปี
จัดขึ้นเพื่ออธิษฐานขอความสงบสุข และความอุดมสมบูรณ์
นักธนูในชุดซามูไรโบราณจะขี่ม้าที่วิ่งอย่างรวดเร็ว
พร้อมยิงธนูไปยังเป้าหมายทั้ง 3 จุด
เป็นภาพที่ทั้งทรงพลัง สง่างาม และสามารถ “รู้สึกได้ด้วยใจ” ไม่ใช่แค่ดูเท่านั้น
เกี่ยวกับศาลเจ้าโอมิ & เรื่องราวของผม
ศาลเจ้าโอมิตั้งอยู่ในเมืองโอสึ จังหวัดชิงะ
ซึ่งเป็นเมืองที่พิเศษสำหรับผมมาก เพราะบ้านของผมก็อยู่ที่เมืองโอสึเช่นกัน
นอกจากยาบุซาเมะแล้ว
ศาลเจ้าแห่งนี้ยังมีชื่อเสียงด้าน คารุตะ (การ์ดเกมแบบดั้งเดิมของญี่ปุ่น)
คุณเคยได้ยินเรื่อง “Chihayafuru” ไหมครับ? เป็นภาพยนตร์/การ์ตูนที่เกี่ยวกับคารุตะ
ที่นี่ยังเป็นสถานที่ที่เงียบสงบ รายล้อมไปด้วยธรรมชาติ
และเป็นจุดเดินเล่นพักผ่อนที่ได้รับความนิยม
เมื่อก่อนผมมักจะไปที่นี่บ่อย ๆ
เพื่อเดินเล่นเงียบ ๆ ผ่อนคลายจิตใจ และใช้เวลากับธรรมชาติ
บรรยากาศที่สงบ อากาศบริสุทธิ์ และความเขียวขจี
ทำให้คุณสามารถค่อย ๆ ใช้เวลา และสัมผัส “ความเป็นญี่ปุ่นแท้ ๆ” ได้
ทำไมผมถึงอยากแนะนำ “เมืองโอสึ”
เมืองโอสึอยู่ใกล้เมืองเกียวโตมาก
แต่มีนักท่องเที่ยวน้อยกว่า ทำให้เงียบสงบกว่า
หากคุณอยากสัมผัสญี่ปุ่นแบบสบาย ๆ
ได้ทั้งวัฒนธรรม ประวัติศาสตร์ และธรรมชาติ โดยไม่มีความแออัด
เมืองโอสึเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ที่ผมอยากแนะนำให้คุณมาลองครับ
วัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่นไม่ได้มีแค่สถานที่ดัง ๆ เท่านั้น
แต่ยังมีช่วงเวลาที่เงียบสงบ อบอุ่น และมีความหมาย
ซึ่งจะอยู่ในความทรงจำของคุณไปอีกนาน

Did you know that in Japan, there is a traditional ceremony where archers shoot arrows while riding on a galloping horse?
This is called “YaBuSaMe” (流鏑馬) — a breathtaking ritual where speed, skill, and spirituality come together.
Every year in early June, at Omi Shrine (Otsu city, close to Kyoto city), this sacred event is performed.
In 2026, it was held on June 7th, beginning with a ceremonial ritual at 12:30, followed by horseback archery from 13:00.
The tradition dates back more than 1,300 years and is dedicated to prayers for peace and a good harvest.
As archers dressed in traditional samurai-style attire ride at full speed and shoot arrows at three targets, the scene is both powerful and elegant — something you can truly feel, not just watch.
About Omi Shrine & My Personal Story
Omi Shrine is located in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture — and this city is very special to me, as my home is in Otsu.
While many people know Omi Shrine for Yabusame, it is also famous as the home of Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game. Did you hear “ChiHaYaFuRu” as Japanese movies?
At the same time, it is a peaceful place surrounded by nature and well known as a relaxing walking spot.
I used to visit there often, simply to enjoy a quiet walk, refresh my mind, and spend time in nature.
The calm atmosphere, fresh air, and beautiful greenery make it a place where you can truly slow down and feel the essence of Japan.
Why I Recommend “Otsu city” for Your Japan Trip
Otsu is located very close to Kyoto.
However, compared to Kyoto, it is much less crowded.
If you would like to experience Japan at a more relaxed pace —
enjoying culture, history, and nature without the crowds — Otsu is a hidden gem I highly recommend.
Japanese culture is not only about famous landmarks,
but also about quiet, meaningful moments that stay in your heart.
