Wrapped up the activity
“Awakening Body, Awakening Heart 🧘♂️💛”
Facilitated by Vichak Panich, Director of Vajrasiddha: Institute of Contemplative Learning
Through gentle breath awareness, somatic meditation, and heart-centered practices, participants were invited to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence. Across three guided sessions, students explored mindful breathing, body awareness, and contemplative practices that helped them release tension, embrace their emotions with kindness, and discover the wisdom within their body, mind, and heart 🌿✨
By learning to observe their inner experiences without judgment, participants experienced how mindfulness can create space for calmness, self-awareness, and emotional balance. The workshop offered a safe and supportive environment to pause from daily busyness, reconnect with the present moment, and nurture a more compassionate relationship with themselves 🤍
💬 Participants shared that…
“Was a fun experience!!”
“Getting more self-awareness and consciousness.”
“Tools I can practice to connect to the present moment.”
“Focus on yourself.”
“A new friend haha.”
“I learned some meditation practices I can continue using in daily life.”
Participants described the workshop as a meaningful and refreshing experience that helped them reconnect with themselves, learn practical mindfulness techniques, and find greater calm in the present moment 🌱
CUSW hopes that the awareness, compassion, and inner calm cultivated through this workshop will continue to support everyone on their journey of well-being 💛☺️
