Do you know where your cannabis has been before it reaches you?
Most people don't. Most dispensaries can't tell you. Here's why that matters.
The cannabis market in Thailand runs on supply chains that most consumers never think about. A large farm harvests hundreds of kilograms. It can't sell all of it directly. So it goes to a broker. The broker sells to a wholesaler. The wholesaler sells to a distributor. The distributor delivers to the dispensary shelf. Somewhere along the way — sometimes from as far as North American overstock markets — cannabis that was already old at the point of export gets repackaged, relabelled with a different strain name, and presented as something new.
By the time it reaches you, nobody in that chain can tell you:
❌ How old it actually is
❌ How many hands touched it
❌ What conditions it experienced in storage or transit
❌ Whether the strain name on the jar matches the genetics inside
And every link in that chain costs something.
Time — cannabis degrades from harvest. Terpenes evaporate. THC converts to CBN. The complexity the plant spent months developing diminishes with every week.
Handling — every touch costs trichomes. The resinous glands that carry cannabinoids and terpenes are physically fragile. A flower handled eight times has lost more than one handled twice.
Provenance — the further the product travels from producer to consumer, the less anyone can verify about its origin, its age, or what it actually is.
You've probably felt this before without knowing what it was:
🔸 Flat aroma that doesn't open up when you break the bud
🔸 Harsh smoke despite looking well-trimmed
🔸 Heavy, foggy effect instead of clean strain-specific clarity
🔸 Flavour that disappears quickly on the exhale
🔸 That headache-adjacent heaviness that lingers
That's not cannabis. That's old, mishandled cannabis. And you paid full price for it.

At Space Trees Thailand — we don't have a supply chain.
We are the farm.
Every gram on our shelves was grown in our own living soil grow rooms in Chiang Mai. It was touched exactly four times between the plant and your hands — Grow, Harvest, Trim, Pack and Serve. It went through our 14:28 Protocol — 14 days of low and slow drying, 28 days of curing in sealed glass — before it ever reached the shelf.
We know how old our cannabis is because we grew it.
We know how many times it was handled because we handled it.
We know what genetics are in the jar because we selected and grew them.
This is what seed-to-sale actually means.
Not a marketing phrase. A structural fact.

CATEGORY 5 — Offensive Selections
Spritzer × Hellcat #15

A Category 5 hurricane is the most powerful classification on the scale. Total intensity. Impossible to ignore. Leaving no doubt about its force.
The Category 5 strain by Offensive Selections earns that name the only way a cannabis cultivar can — by being one of the most potent, most aromatically explosive, and most visually spectacular strains available anywhere. With THC testing between 31% and 34%+ and a total terpene content of 4-6%, Category 5 is not just the strongest cultivar on the Space Trees 2026/2027 menu. It is one of the strongest cultivars in the current market. Experienced consumers only.
Bred by Offensive Selections — the same team behind our Black Market (RS11 × Hellcat) — through crossing Spritzer with their flagship Hellcat #15 breeding line. Spritzer brings everything its Grape Pie × Runtz × MAC lineage promises: authentic grape soda, fizzy and sweet, sparkling and candy-forward. Hellcat #15 — the genetic backbone of the entire Offensive Selections elite lineup — takes that profile and turns the intensity up to extreme. The result is a sativa-leaning hybrid where the grape sweetness and the dank fuel backdrop coexist at genuinely exceptional levels of expression.
On the nose: Authentic grape soda — not vague grape, not synthetic grape, but the specific fizzy sweetness of the actual drink. Effervescent, vibrant, and immediate. A dank fuel note sits beneath it — the Hellcat #15 lineage expressing as a grounding counterpoint to the candy sweetness above. 4-6% total terpenes means the room knows about it the moment the jar opens. This is a loud strain.
On the smoke: The grape soda character carries through on the inhale — clean, fizzy, sweet. The fuel and dank foundation deepens on the exhale, adding complexity and length to a finish that would otherwise be purely candy-forward. Dense, smooth smoke that reflects the extraordinary terpene density of this cultivar in living soil.
On the effect: Sativa-leaning, euphoric, and extremely potent. The onset is rapid and undeniable — 31-34%+ THC makes its presence known quickly and completely. Creative, uplifting, and energetic in the early phase before the body component develops. Long-lasting throughout. This is a strain that demands respect and rewards experience. Not for beginners. Not for casual use. For consumers who know exactly what they want and want the maximum version of it.
Also one of the most extraction-ready cultivars we grow — confirmed 5-6%+ wash return, platinum purple and silver flower, exceptional bag appeal from the first jar to the last.
Grown in living soil at Space Trees Chiang Mai. Sister strain to Triple Beam — both built on the same elite Hellcat #15 foundation, Category 5 takes the THC to another level entirely.

JOHNNY DANG — Ethos Genetics
Wrank #5 × Marshmallow OG

Some strains are built for a good time. Johnny Dang is built for a good night.
The Johnny Dang strain by Ethos Genetics is a 60/40 indica-dominant hybrid — Wrank #5 × Marshmallow OG — that arrives on our 2026/2027 living soil menu as one of the most purposefully crafted heavy indica releases we have grown. Ethos Genetics are the Denver-based breeding operation known for treating every release as a scientific process rather than a marketing exercise — documented genetics, rigorous pheno selection, consistent expression across runs. Johnny Dang is a precise example of that approach.
The genetics explain the experience. Wrank #5 — a Chem D × Triangle OG × Jet Fuel Gelato cross, specifically the Paul Wall pheno selected for standout trichome production — brings sharp diesel edge, Florida-bred OG earthiness, and the potency backbone that puts this cultivar in the upper tier. Marshmallow OG tempers all of that with a softer, floral, sweet counter-note that rounds the profile into something complex and approachable rather than simply aggressive. 25%+ TAC.
On the nose: Gassy diesel opens immediately — the Chem D lineage announcing itself clearly. Woody pine develops underneath, adding depth and an almost herbal quality. Sweet floral notes emerge as the flower warms — the Marshmallow OG genetics softening the sharp edges of the diesel backbone. Three distinct layers that evolve from the first sniff to the last.
On the smoke: The gas and pine carry through on the inhale — bold, clean, direct. The floral sweetness expresses on the exhale, rounding the finish into something considerably more nuanced than the nose alone suggests. Smooth and heavy — the kind of smoke that coats the palate completely and makes you take your time between draws.
On the effect: Deep, full-body relaxation that establishes itself firmly and stays. This is a purposeful strain — not a casual daytime cultivar, but a deliberate, end-of-day experience for consumers who know exactly what they want. Mood elevation in the early phase, followed by a sustained body calm that is heavy without being debilitating. Controlled, premium, and long-lasting. Experienced consumers only.
New to our living soil menu for 2026/2027. Dense, resin-heavy buds with excellent structure and high bract-to-leaf ratio — the hallmarks of a well-bred Ethos Genetics release expressing fully in a biological growing environment.

CHERRY ZOAP — LIT Farms
Zoap × Cherry Lineage

There are strains that smell good. And then there are strains that stop you mid-conversation the moment the jar opens.
Cherry Zoap by LIT Farms — Lost In Translation — is the second kind.
LIT Farms has built their entire reputation around terpene-forward, high-potency genetics that perform as loudly in the jar as they do in the effect. Cherry Zoap is a precise expression of that philosophy: Zoap's now-legendary foundation — DEO Farms' Rainbow Sherbet × Pink Guava cross that took Oakland to the world — layered with bold, fresh cherry genetics that amplify the fruity complexity into something genuinely arresting.
The result is a balanced hybrid pushing up to 30% THC with a terpene profile stacked with myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene — cherry and citrus leading the nose, supported by the distinctive floral-soapy depth that defines the Zoap genetic line, with a peppery caryophyllene undercurrent holding everything together.
On the nose: Fresh cherry opens immediately — bright, vivid, specific. Not artificial cherry. The real thing. Citrus sharpens it. The floral, slightly soapy quality of the Zoap parentage emerges beneath — the unmistakable signature of the Rainbow Sherbet and Pink Guava lineage that made Zoap famous. The combination is layered, complex, and immediately distinctive.
On the smoke: The cherry and citrus carry through on the inhale — clean, bright, mood-elevating. The soapy floral quality of the Zoap genetics expresses on the exhale alongside an earthy sweetness from the myrcene foundation. The smoke is dense and smooth — grown in our living soil no-till system, the terpene expression in this cultivar is exceptional from the first draw to the last.
On the effect: Euphoric, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced. The limonene-driven uplift arrives quickly — a clean, positive, mood-brightening onset — before the myrcene and caryophyllene settle into a deep physical calm that grounds the experience without eliminating the cerebral quality. Neither purely sativa nor purely indica. The kind of balanced high that experienced consumers return to specifically because it delivers both dimensions without sacrificing either.
30% THC. Dense, heavily trichomed buds with rich purple and olive green colouration. Frosty, expressive, and visually exceptional. Grown in our living soil system in Chiang Mai — the cherry and citrus terpene expression that defines this cultivar develops with particular depth in a biological growing environment.
Currently running at Space Trees Thailand Nimman.

The name alone tells you this isn't a strain for the timid.
Greasy Ho**er by Reverse Genetics is a three-way cross that makes complete sense once you understand the genetics — Sugarcane bringing dense structure and candy sweetness from its Slurricane lineage, Red Velvet adding a fruity, slightly fermented depth from its Moonbow parentage, and GMO doing what GMO always does — taking the wheel with sharp sour pungency and a body-forward indica effect that the other two parents cannot override.
The result is a cultivar with a terpene profile that is specific, bold, and immediately recognisable.
On the nose: Sharp, assertive sour that opens first — the GMO Chemdawg lineage expressing clearly — followed by a sickly sweet fruit that sits beneath it. Dense, overripe, slightly fermented. The kind of sweetness that belongs alongside sourness rather than competing with it. This is not a shy strain.
On the smoke: Sour on the inhale — clean, direct, coating the palate completely. The exhale transitions into fruit and citrus — a clean, warm finish that contrasts with the sour inhale in a way that makes you want to go back for another draw.
On the effect: Euphoric onset followed by a strong, slightly indica-dominant body experience that is long-lasting and deeply satisfying. Heavy but not couch-lock. Substantial but not sedating. A well-built evening cultivar with enough euphoric character in the early phase to make the journey genuinely enjoyable.
Grown in our living soil no-till system in Chiang Mai. 25% THC. Large, dense green and purple buds with substantial structure and even trichome coverage throughout.
Running now at Space Trees Thailand Nimman.

PINEAPPLE PUCKER — Solfire Gardens
Pucker Up × Last Supper

Some strains smell tropical. Pineapple Pucker smells like an actual piña colada.
Bred by Solfire Gardens — the Seattle-based operation founded by a University of Washington biology student, known for combining scientific breeding methodology with bold, exotic terpene expressions — Pineapple Pucker was released in February 2025 as part of their Last Supper collection and has quickly become one of the most discussed tropical strains in the current market.
The genetics explain everything the nose delivers. Pucker Up — a Sour Apple × Bahama Mama cross — provides the electric citrus snap and deep tropical sweetness, with Bahama Mama's Black Banana and Tropicana Cookies lineage bringing genuine pineapple and creamy cookie undertones. Last Supper grounds the cross with structure, potency, and a gassy funk dimension that prevents the tropical character from becoming one-dimensional. Sweet fruit on top. Gas underneath. Holding the entire experience together.
On the nose: Ripe pineapple juice leads immediately — vivid, sweet, mouth-wateringly specific. Citrus rind sharpens it. Sour candy adds the snap. A creamy tropical funk sits beneath all of it. This is not vague tropical sweetness — it is a specific, complete, piña colada terpene profile that fills the room and genuinely makes your mouth water before the jar is even open.
On the smoke: The pineapple and citrus come through cleanly on the inhale, with the sour candy character adding a brightness mid-palate. The exotic gassy funk from the Last Supper genetics runs through the exhale — the element that keeps this strain interesting session after session rather than becoming simply sweet. Bold, vivid, and layered.
On the effect: Uplifting, mood-bright, and balanced — the sativa-leaning character of Pucker Up expressing through the more grounded structure of Last Supper. Creative and sociable without being racy. A genuinely versatile cultivar that earns its place at any time of day. 22–28% THC.
Grown in our living soil no-till system in Chiang Mai. The tropical fruit terpene complexity that defines this cultivar develops with exceptional richness in a biological growing environment — this is what pineapple genetics look like when the biological conditions are right.
Part of our 2026/2027 tropical menu alongside Tropic Ozz. If you want your cannabis to taste like a holiday — this is the one.

Every strain on our menu started as one seed in a batch of ten, fifteen, sometimes twenty.
Same genetics. Same parents. Different plants.
Some are average. Some are good. A rare few stop you mid-inspection and make you reach for your notebook.
Cannabis pheno hunting is the systematic search for those rare few.
At Space Trees Thailand, every genetics run goes through our structured 5-category evaluation before anything is considered for the mother plant library — the collection of preserved, cloned cuts that produces every harvest on our menu.
The five criteria we judge every phenotype against:
① Aroma — evaluated at three points: during the grow, immediately post-cure, and after 30 days of storage. A pheno whose terpenes fade quickly doesn't make the cut. We need the nose to last.
② Flavour — inhale character, mid-point complexity, exhale note, and lingering finish. The aroma and flavour must connect and both must be distinctive.
③ Smoke — smooth, even burn, white ash. Smokeability separates growing quality from genetic quality. Every sample is evaluated under identical conditions.
④ Effect — the most subjective and the most important. A pheno that smells extraordinary but produces a flat, undifferentiated experience does not earn a place on the menu. The high has to earn its place too.
⑤ Bag Appeal — trichome density, colour expression, structure. In living soil, visual quality and terpene quality are produced by the same biological processes. A visually exceptional pheno in living soil is almost always a terpene-rich one.
The keeper becomes a mother plant. Preserved through cloning. Grown in our living soil beds. On your menu.
This is how the RS11 cut that produces our Rainbow Marker got there. This is how every strain on our shelf earned its place.

DRIZZLE BEACH — Exotic Genetix
Drip Station × Bahama Berry

Some strains announce themselves with complexity and challenge. Drizzle Beach announces itself with pleasure.
Drizzle Beach by Exotic Genetix is a Drip Station × Bahama Berry cross from one of Washington State's most celebrated breeding operations — a seed bank with Cannabis Cup wins dating back to 2012 and a catalogue built on flavour complexity, resin production, and visual excellence. The cross they built with Drizzle Beach delivers on all three.
Drip Station brings the gas and the structure — Greasy Runtz × Scotty 2 Hotty genetics contributing rock-solid, trichome-heavy buds and an aromatic intensity that the Bahama Berry parent then transforms completely on the exhale. The result is a terpene profile that sits in genuinely unusual territory: tropical fruit and gas simultaneously, without one cancelling the other out.
On the nose: Intense tropical fruit leads — pineapple, citrus, a slightly creamy sweetness — with a gas note sitting beneath it rather than dominating. The combination is bright, specific, and immediately inviting. This is the kind of nose that makes experienced consumers stop and pay attention.
On the smoke: The tropical fruit comes through cleanly on the inhale and builds on the exhale. Sharp citrus, creamy pineapple, a warm tropical finish that lingers. The gas is present throughout but supporting rather than leading — the rare hybrid where the fruit genetics genuinely hold their own against the fuel.
On the effect: Euphoric head high that establishes itself clearly before transitioning into comfortable, balanced physical relaxation. The 60/40 indica-sativa balance is detectable — uplifting without being racy, relaxing without being sedating. Versatile across times of day. One of the more sociable cultivars on our current menu.
Dense, purple-hued buds with impressive trichome coverage throughout. Grown in our living soil no-till system in Chiang Mai — the tropical fruit terpene expression that defines this cultivar develops with particular richness in a biological growing environment.
Currently running at Space Trees Thailand Nimman.

Thailand's cannabis laws have changed significantly — and the information circulating online is often out of date.
Here is the current situation as of 2026.
Cannabis in Thailand is legal for medical use only. Since June 26, 2025, all cannabis flower purchases require a valid PT33 prescription — issued by a licensed Thai medical practitioner. This applies to Thai citizens and foreign visitors alike.
The change came after three years of the 2022 decriminalisation framework operating without a comprehensive regulatory structure. Thailand was the first country in Asia to remove cannabis from its narcotics list in 2022. By 2025, the government had reversed course — reclassifying cannabis flowers as a controlled herb under traditional medicine law and requiring medical prescriptions for all purchases.
What has not changed: cannabis has not been returned to the narcotics list. It sits under the traditional medicine framework — a different and generally less severe legal structure than the Narcotics Act.
What this means practically:
✅ Medical use is fully legal with a valid PT33 prescription
✅ Tourists can access cannabis with a prescription from a Thai-licensed doctor
✅ PT33 prescriptions can be issued on-site at licensed dispensaries
❌ Recreational sales are prohibited
❌ Public consumption carries fines up to 25,000 THB
❌ Taking cannabis out of Thailand is a criminal offence under any circumstances
We maintain a complete, regularly updated guide to Thailand's cannabis legal framework on our blog — covering the full history from 1979 to the most recent April 2026 Royal Gazette update.
