Last week, we had the privilege of hosting a Joni and Friends team from the U.S. for two distributions in Phetchabun and Sukhothai. Over 105 individuals received mobility aids, including 29 children. For many of these children, this was their first wheelchair.

We’re thankful for this long-standing partnership we’ve shared together and the life-changing impact Joni & Friends has had here and continues to have around the world.

Behind every wheelchair is a network of people who care deeply about helping others.

Tobias first volunteered with us in 2016, and soon after he returned to Germany, he began collecting used wheelchairs and equipment to ship to us in Thailand. During a visit last month with his family, they got to see the impact of their efforts firsthand and learn how to ensure future shipments meet the needs of patients as effectively as possible.

We are incredibly grateful for friends like Tobias who share our passion of bringing dignity, mobility, and hope to those who need it most.

After a refreshing night of rain cooled the Thai summer heat, our team spent the morning unloading a container filled with more than 350 pieces of mobility equipment.

Thanks to our long-time partners at Joni and Friends, this equipment will soon be used during the upcoming Wheels for the World distribution held next month.

We can't wait to welcome their team and serve the people of Thailand together.

Last week our team completed a 3 day distribution, providing over 230 recipients with mobility aids in the district of Surin. From wheelchairs to walkers, each fitting was done to ensure safety, comfort, and long-term support.

We’re so grateful to our partners and volunteers who made these transformative days possible.

We were thrilled to host our newest partner, Hope Haven, from the U.S. last week. Together, we served communities in Chai Nat and Chaiyaphum by distributing 200 wheelchairs and mobility aids.

In addition, Hope Haven’s specially designed pediatric wheelchairs were provided to more than 20 children at โรงเรียนศึกษาพิเศษชัยนาท. We’re deeply grateful for this partnership and the many people we will serve together in the years to come.

We were honored to return to Wang Nuea District last week to host another distribution with the Wang Nuea District Association for People with Disabilities, ชมรมคนพิการอำเภอวังเหนือ. Founded by Mr. Pranat Wattanasawat, who became a wheelchair user after a life-altering accident, the association is rooted in the belief that people with disabilities should be empowered to live independently and with dignity.

By distributing more than 36 pieces of mobility equipment together, we continued Mr. Pranat’s incredible legacy of advocacy, community-based rehabilitation, and support for individuals and families across the district.

It’s been a busy and rewarding few weeks as our team completed three distributions in SiSaKet, Lamphun, and Lampang. With over 230 recipients served, it’s an amazing way to wrap up the end of 2025.

Thank you for all of the love, support, and hours spent by our partners and volunteers helping make 2025 another amazing year.

This week, our inventory was replenished in a big way as we received a new container filled with wheelchairs and walkers from our incredible partners at Convoy of Hope in Germany. With three major distributions scheduled for December, this shipment ensures we’ll be fully equipped to meet the needs of the communities we’ll be serving.

A heartfelt thank you to Stefan Rimmele for helping facilitate this container and for joining us at the warehouse as it arrived. Your support continues to make a tremendous difference.

With the end of the year quickly approaching, we’re energized and ready to finish strong!
