June is Men’s Mental Health Month.
For many men, anger is easier to express than sadness, fear, shame, or hurt.
But anger may sometimes be the surface emotion. Underneath it, there may be stress, rejection, grief, trauma, burnout, insecurity, or feeling unsupported.
Understanding this does not mean excusing harmful behaviour. It means recognising when anger may be a signal that something deeper needs care.
