What a year it’s been so far! 2020 has been a challenging year for most, inspiring deep thought, self analysis and thoughts of what informs our future. When we began Bald Babes Ink in 2017, we could never have imagined that it would have blossomed into such an incredible community centred around black women tattooing.
We wish to share with you that we have decided to part ways in order to focus on following our paths as individuals. We are eternally grateful for your love, generosity and overall support over the last 3+ years – it seems like we started this venture just yesterday.

When we do a custom design, a lot of thought goes into the elements we add to a tattoo and we always try our best to understand the essence of what our clients want. Sometimes it takes a bit of imagination and inspiration before it’s just right and it’s all worth it to see our clients happy!

Dear friends and family, due to COVID-19 concerns we will be rescheduling some of our upcoming tattoo appointments. This isn’t easy for us to do but we feel like it’s necessary.
We always take utmost care in keeping a clean tattoo environment for the safety of ourselves and our clients, but we feel it would be irresponsible to ignore the effects of the virus and risk infection of ourselves and others, as there may be asymptomatic people in our community who are contagious.
We will be contacting all our clients to reschedule appointments for the next two weeks. In the meanwhile, to supplement our income, we will have prints and gift cards available for sale. Stay tuned, we will be posting more art and prints soon!

Hey everyone, we have some surprising news to share. We are currently looking for our dream home. Due to unexpected circumstances, we are reaching out to our community to help us find a space in Port of Spain (Preferably in the Woodbrook, St. Anns or Cascade area). We are so grateful for everyone who has shared our current space in Idlewood with us. Creating a space that feels welcoming and safe for everyone is a big priority for us and we are so happy to have been able to grow and learn as much as we have there. Not gonna lie, this is sudden and a little terrifying for us, but for us adaptability is key and we know that it will work out. We’re reaching out to you all because intuitively that is what feels best. If you or anyone else you know has space available please let us know!
