PUBLIC NOTICE – Temporary Relocation of Emergency Department Services

The South-West Regional Health Authority advises the public that the Emergency Department at the Couva District Health Facility will be temporarily relocated to the facility's Primary Care Area from 4:00 p.m. on Friday 26th June, 2026, to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday 28th June, 2026.

This temporary decanting is necessary to facilitate internal environmental cleaning of the Emergency Department.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to maintain a safe and clean environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
