彰化基督教醫院（彰基）醫療團於2026年7月19日至8月2日前往巴布亞紐幾內亞（Papua New Guinea, PNG），在首都莫士比港醫院（Port Moresby General Hospital, PMGH）及馬當省醫院（Madang Provincial Health Authority, MPHA）提供醫療服務、專業交流及營養衛教活動。此行由海外醫療中心執行長高小玲率領，成員包括肝膽胃腸科葉菀婷醫師、內分泌新陳代謝科馬儷娜醫師、骨科部陳柏霖醫師、耳鼻喉暨頭頸部王逸婷醫師、營養部周庭營養師、海外醫療中心鄭涴玹管理師與學生志工陳韻尹。團隊除提供臨床醫療服務外，並舉辦B型肝炎、肥胖與糖尿病防治、骨科及耳鼻喉新技術與臨床指引，以及慢性腎臟病營養照護等專題講座，分享台灣臨床經驗並提升當地健康識能。
在臨床合作方面，彰基團隊運用攜帶之骨科植入物協助當地骨折患者接受手術治療，並與MPHA外科團隊合作，成功完成巴紐全國第二例全髖關節置換術，進一步將專業醫療技術與臨床經驗導入當地。未來彰基將持續與PMGH及MPHA深化夥伴關係，推動醫護人員專科培訓、臨床實作與專業交流，協助提升當地醫療照護量能，促進全民健康與永續醫療發展。



Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) conducted a medical mission to Papua New Guinea (PNG) from July 19 to August 2, 2026, providing clinical services, professional exchange, and health education at Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) and Madang Provincial Health Authority (MPHA).
Led by Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of CCH’s Overseas Medical Mission Center, the multidisciplinary team delivered clinical services and professional lectures on hepatitis B, obesity and diabetes prevention, orthopedic and ENT care, and nutrition for chronic kidney disease.
A major achievement of the mission was the successful completion of PNG’s second total hip replacement surgery, performed jointly by CCH and the MPHA surgical team. CCH also provided orthopedic implants and shared surgical expertise with local healthcare professionals.
CCH will continue its partnerships with PMGH and MPHA through clinical training, professional capacity building, and medical technology transfer to strengthen healthcare services and promote sustainable health development in PNG.

本（2026）年6月8日至7月17日，來自泰國 Walailak 大學的兩位藥學系學生 Ms. Chanatinat Thongthae 與 Ms. Sasikarn Naksuwan，於彰化基督教醫院及員林基督教醫院進行為期六週之藥學臨床實習。實習內容涵蓋化療藥品調劑、無菌操作技術、藥品庫存管理、病人用藥安全評估、癌症個案照護與衛教、中西藥整合、兒癌與安寧療護觀摩等多面向訓練，內容豐富且具臨床實務深度。

實習期間，兩位學生展現高度學習熱忱與積極主動的態度，不僅參與個案討論與病人衛教設計，也觀察台灣藥師於臨床照護、病人溝通與跨團隊合作中的專業角色，獲得許多啟發。

兩位學生於7月17日完成所有課程，舉辦實習結訓心得分享會，內容包括學習歷程與收穫、未來如何應用所學於臨床實務，以及在台期間的生活經驗與文化觀察等。分享會中，各實習單位指導藥師亦出席聆聽，並肯定學生的優異表現與專業潛力。

會後由藥學部頒發培訓結業證書，期勉兩位學生未來能持續精進專業知識，將所學帶回母國，造福更多病人，並成為促進國際藥學交流的重要橋樑。

< CCH Successfully Concludes Six-Week Clinical Pharmacy Internship Program for Thailand Walailak University Students >

From June 8 to July 17, 2026, two pharmacy students from Walailak University, Thailand—Ms. Chanatinat Thongthae and Ms. Sasikarn Naksuwan—completed a six-week clinical pharmacy internship at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) and Yuanlin Christian Hospital.

The internship covered a broad range of clinical pharmacy training, including chemotherapy preparation, aseptic compounding, medication management, medication safety, oncology pharmaceutical care, patient education, integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and observational learning in pediatric oncology and palliative care.

Throughout the program, both students demonstrated strong enthusiasm and professionalism. They actively participated in case discussions and patient education while gaining valuable insights into the roles of Taiwanese pharmacists in clinical care, patient communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

On July 17, the students concluded the program by sharing their learning experiences, future career plans, and cultural experiences in Taiwan. Preceptor pharmacists commended their outstanding performance and professional potential. The Department of Pharmacy presented certificates of completion, hoping they will apply their knowledge to benefit patients in Thailand and continue strengthening international pharmacy collaboration.

為持續推動智慧醫療國際合作，彰化基督教醫院於7月6日至12日參與由中華民國對外貿易發展協會（TAITRA）辦理之「2026臺灣醫療暨健康產業赴泰越東拓銷團」，針對泰國醫療產業，前往泰國進行醫療交流，推廣彰基智慧醫療、國際醫療及特色醫療成果，並積極拓展與泰國醫療、學術及產業界之合作夥伴關係。
此次行程拜訪King Mongkut Chaokhun Thahan Hospital（KMCH）、Kaigo House、NXPO（泰國國家高等教育科學研究與創新政策辦公室）及 Angel Baby IVF Clinic 等單位，針對智慧醫療、人工智慧（AI）、長期照護、生殖醫療及醫療人才培育等議題深入交流，並探討智慧醫療示範場域建置、人才培訓及跨國合作等發展方向。
此外，彰基亦參與WHX Bangkok國際醫療展，掌握智慧醫療及健康照護產業最新發展趨勢，並與16家泰國醫療機構、生殖醫療中心、醫學院及生醫工程相關單位完成一對一媒合交流，建立多項後續合作契機。
展望未來，彰基將持續推動臺泰智慧醫療合作，並透過即將於2026年10月15日在曼谷舉辦的「2026臺泰智慧醫療研討會」，串聯泰國傳統醫藥、學術、政府及產業夥伴，共同促進智慧醫療、健康照護及國際人才培育交流，攜手提升醫療服務品質，拓展臺灣智慧醫療的國際影響力。

< CCH Strengthens Taiwan–Thailand Smart Healthcare Collaboration and Expands International Partnerships >

To further advance international collaboration in smart healthcare, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) participated in the 2026 Taiwan Medical and Healthcare Trade Mission to Thailand, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), from July 6 to 12. During the visit, CCH promoted its achievements in smart healthcare, international medical services, and specialty care, while expanding partnerships with healthcare institutions, academic organizations, and industry leaders in Thailand.
The delegation visited King Mongkut Chaokhun Thahan Hospital (KMCH), Kaigo House, the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), and Angel Baby IVF Clinic. Discussions focused on smart healthcare, artificial intelligence (AI), long-term care, reproductive medicine, and healthcare workforce development, while exploring opportunities for smart healthcare demonstration sites, professional training, and future international collaboration.
CCH also participated in WHX Bangkok, a leading healthcare trade exhibition in Southeast Asia, to gain insights into the latest developments in smart healthcare and healthcare innovation. In addition, the hospital held one-on-one business matchmaking meetings with 16 Thai healthcare institutions, fertility centers, medical schools, and biomedical engineering organizations, establishing promising opportunities for future collaboration.
Looking ahead, CCH will commit to strengthening Taiwan–Thailand collaboration in smart healthcare. Through the 2026 Taiwan–Thailand Smart Healthcare Conference, to be held in Bangkok on October 15, 2026, CCH will continue connecting DTAM, healthcare providers, academic institutions, government agencies, and industry partners of Thailand to foster innovation, promote international talent development, enhance healthcare quality, and further expand Taiwan's global presence in smart healthcare.

2026年5月17日至20日，彰化基督教醫院配合外交部及衛生福利部推動醫療外交，由海外醫療中心高小玲執行長代表出席於瑞士日內瓦舉辦之「2026年臺灣智慧醫療與健康產業展」。展會期間，高執行長分享彰基在特色醫療服務、智慧醫療發展及人工智慧（AI）應用於臨床照護之成果與經驗，並參訪當地創新中心，了解國際醫療科技發展趨勢與創新模式。
本次展覽由外交部林佳龍部長及衛生福利部石崇良部長共同主持開幕，集結超過30家來自臺灣的頂尖醫療機構及智慧醫療創新企業參展。透過公私部門攜手組成的「醫療公衛臺灣隊」，向國際社會展示臺灣將先進科技與人工智慧成功導入醫療與健康產業的豐碩成果，彰顯臺灣在智慧醫療、數位健康及醫療創新領域的全球競爭力與影響力。

CCH Participated in the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo (Geneva 2026)

From May 17 to 20, 2026, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), in support of Taiwan’s medical diplomacy initiatives led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and the Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW), participated in the Taiwan Smart Medical & HealthTech Expo held in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Nina Kao, CEO of the Overseas Medical Mission Center, represented CCH at the event. During the exhibition, Dr. Nina shared CCH’s achievements and experiences in specialty healthcare services, smart healthcare development, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in clinical care. She also visited local innovation centers to gain insights into emerging trends and innovative models in global healthcare technology.
The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Lin Chia-lung, and Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr. Shih Chung-liang. The event brought together more than 30 leading Taiwanese hospitals and smart healthcare enterprises, showcasing Taiwan’s strengths in healthcare innovation and digital health technologies. Through the collaborative efforts of the public and private sectors under the “Taiwan Healthcare and Public Health Team,” the exhibition highlighted Taiwan’s successful integration of advanced technologies and AI into healthcare and health-related industries. The event demonstrated Taiwan’s growing global competitiveness and influence in smart healthcare, digital health, and medical innovation.

《印尼護理系師生至彰基參與國際短期研習 深化臨床與AI醫療應用交流》

2026年5月4日至5月16日，來自印尼 Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta（UMY）6位護理系碩士生及 Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta（UKHS）1位護理系四年級學生，在UMY護理學院 Fitri Arofiati 教授帶領下，前往彰基展開為期兩週的國際臨床研習與學術交流。研習期間，學員分別至護理部、內分泌新陳代謝科、腹膜透析室、急診醫學部及手術室進行臨床觀摩與專業交流，深入了解臺灣醫療照護模式、護理作業流程及跨專業團隊合作實務。另Fitri Arofiati教授也應邀於護理部專題演講，分享實證醫學（Evidence-Based Practice, EBP）在臨床照護中的應用經驗，促進雙方在護理教育與研究上的交流。

為拓展學員對智慧醫療的認識，特別安排學員於5月11日參與AI工作坊，介紹人工智慧於醫療產業中的發展趨勢與實際應用。活動期間，學員亦參觀多家智慧醫療相關廠商展示，透過產品展示與現場交流，進一步了解AI技術在臨床醫療與健康照護領域的應用現況與未來發展方向。此外，彰基亦安排學員赴台北參觀 AT Life Taiwan Assistive Technology and Long-term Care Expo 2026，深入了解臺灣在智慧醫療、長期照護、復健輔具及高齡照護等領域的最新發展成果，進一步拓展其國際醫療視野。

此次研習不僅深化臺灣與印尼在醫療教育與護理專業領域的合作交流，也讓印尼學員對臺灣完善的醫療體系及優質照護環境留下深刻印象。期盼學員返國後，能將在彰基所學的專業知識與實務經驗分享給更多同儕，並在未來臨床工作中加以應用，為提升印尼醫療照護品質貢獻力量，造福更多民眾。

《Indonesian Nursing Students Complete International Short-Term Training Program at Changhua Christian Hospital》

From May 4 to May 16, 2026, six master nursing students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) and one senior undergraduate nursing student from Universitas Kusuma Husada Surakarta (UKHS) participated in a two-week international observation program at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), Taiwan. The delegation was led by Professor Fitri Arofiati from UMY.
During their stay, the students engaged in clinical observation and professional exchanges in the Department of Nursing, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Dialysis Unit, Department of Emergency Medicine, and Operating Room. Through these activities, they gained a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s healthcare system, nursing workflows, and interdisciplinary team-based care model. As part of the academic exchange, Professor Fitri Arofiati was invited to deliver a lecture to CCH nursing staff on the clinical application of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP), fostering further collaboration in nursing education and research between Taiwan and Indonesia.

To broaden the participants’ perspectives on emerging healthcare technologies, CCH arranged for them to attend an AI workshop on May 11, where they learned about the development and practical applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The students also visited exhibition booths showcasing smart healthcare solutions and interacted directly with industry representatives, gaining valuable insights into the current and future use of AI in clinical care and health management.
In addition, the delegation visited the AT Life Taiwan Assistive Technology and Long-term Care Expo 2026 in Taipei. The exhibition introduced the latest innovations in smart healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation devices, and elderly care, further expanding the students’ international perspectives on healthcare development.

This observation program not only strengthened academic and professional exchange between Taiwan and Indonesia, but also left the participants with a profound impression of Taiwan’s advanced healthcare system and high-quality care environment. It is hoped that the students will share the knowledge and experiences gained at CCH with their peers upon returning home and apply what they have learned to improve the quality of healthcare services in Indonesia, ultimately benefiting more patients and communities.

今年為彰化基督教醫院第二次舉辦「AI Development Learning Workshop」，相較去年，本次活動擴大辦理，參與人數與交流規模皆較往年提升，共邀請22位來自泰國衛生部護理局（Nursing Division, Ministry of Public Health）、泰國私立護理師協會（Thai Private Nurse Association）、曼谷基督教醫院（Bangkok Christian Hospital）、吞武里醫院(Thonburi Hospital)、Overbrook Hospital、McCormick Hospital、Vichaivej International Hospital、 Phyathai Hospital Group & Paolo Hospital Group、BNH Hospital、Synphaet Hospital、Ramkhamhaeng Hospital與Md Healthcare Co., Ltd.等合作醫療機構及醫療代理商之護理與資訊相關人員來台交流，共同探討人工智慧於智慧醫療中的應用與未來發展。
本次工作坊邀請彰基大數據暨數位推動中心部長劉晏孜醫師及人體試驗委員會主任顏旭亨醫師，分享AI於臨床實務、智慧醫療及數位轉型之應用經驗；同時亦邀請馬雅通訊金博璿業務經理分享醫療設備整合平台於護理系統中的應用經驗。除專題演講外，課程亦結合亦結合大型語言模型（LLM）與臨床資料應用實作，帶領與會者實際體驗AI工具於醫療場域中的應用模式，並安排參訪員林基督教醫院智慧醫療相關系統，實際了解AI技術於醫療場域中的運用模式。
此外，演講期間亦邀請15家智慧醫療相關廠商於現場設攤展示產品與解決方案，促進醫療機構與產業間之交流合作。
本次工作坊亦安排參加「2026 AT Life Taiwan」輔具暨長期照護展覽，了解台灣最新智慧照護、數位醫療與輔具科技發展趨勢，期盼透過多元交流與經驗分享，共同推動智慧醫療與國際合作發展。


CCH hosted the second “AI Development Learning Workshop” this year. Compared with last year’s program, the workshop has been expanded, with increased participant numbers and broader international exchange. A total of 22 healthcare and information technology professionals from Thailand, including the Nursing Division of the Ministry of Public Health, Thai Private Nurse Association, Bangkok Christian Hospital, Thonburi Hospital, Overbrook Hospital, McCormick Hospital, Vichaivej International Hospital, Phyathai Hospital Group & Paolo Hospital Group, BNH Hospital, Synphaet Hospital, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital and Md Healthcare Co., Ltd. to visit Taiwan from May 10th to 16th for a six-day professional learning and exchange program. Exploring the applications and future development of artificial intelligence in smart healthcare.

The workshop features keynote lectures delivered by Dr. Yen-Tze Liu, Director of the Big Data and Digital Promotion Center of CCH, and Dr. Hsu-Heng Yen, Director of the Institutional Review Board (IRB), who shared their experiences in AI applications, digital transformation, and smart healthcare development in clinical practice. In addition, Mr. Bo-Xuan Jin, Sales Manager of Mayaminer Company, introduced the application of medical device integration platforms in nursing systems and clinical workflows.

In addition to keynote sessions, the workshop also incorporated hands-on training sessions focusing on large language models (LLMs) and clinical data applications. Participants also visit Yuanlin Christian Hospital to learn about the practical implementation of smart healthcare systems in hospital settings.

Furthermore, 15 smart healthcare companies have been invited to showcase their products and innovative solutions during the lecture, promoting collaboration and exchange between healthcare institutions and industry partners.

The workshop also arranged participation in the “2026 AT Life Taiwan” exhibition, allowing participants to explore the latest developments in smart care, digital healthcare, and assistive technologies in Taiwan. Through diverse exchanges and experience sharing, CCH hopes to further promote smart healthcare innovation and international collaboration.

本（2026）年3月16日至4月15日，來自Overbrook Hospital（OBH）之六位醫事人員，經院方遴選至彰化基督教醫院（CCH）進行為期一個月之研習。課程內容涵蓋加護病房、感染控制、生殖醫學中心、營養部、手術室及安寧緩和照護等多元領域。透過實地觀摩與臨床交流，學員深入了解臨床照護流程、單位運作模式及跨專業團隊合作之實務經驗。
除專業課程外，亦安排雲林基督教醫院參訪及鹿港老街文化體驗，使學員在精進專業知能之餘，亦能感受在地文化與人文風情，促進跨文化交流。
於結訓分享會中，學員分別發表學習成果與心得，內容涵蓋彰基與OBH之制度比較與差異分析，以及未來返國後於臨床實務之應用規劃。會後由指導教師頒發結訓證書，為本次培訓課程畫下圓滿句點。


From March 16 to April 15, 2026, six healthcare professionals from Overbrook Hospital (OBH) were selected to participate in a one-month training program at Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH), Taiwan. The program covered a wide range of specialties, including the Intensive Care Unit, infection control, the Reproductive Medicine Center, the Department of Nutrition, the operating room, and hospice and palliative care. Through on-site observation and clinical exchanges, participants gained in-depth insights into clinical care processes, departmental operations, and interdisciplinary teamwork in practice.
In addition to professional training, the program also included a visit to Yunlin Christian Hospital and a cultural experience at Lukang Old Street, allowing participants to further enrich their learning while experiencing local culture and fostering cross-cultural exchange.
During the final presentation session, participants shared their learning outcomes and reflections, including comparative analyses of systems and practices between CCH and OBH, as well as plans for applying their newly acquired knowledge to clinical practice upon returning home. Certificates of completion were presented by supervising faculty, marking the successful conclusion of the training program.

Through sustained engagement and capacity building—including the signing of memoranda of understanding, deployment of medical missions, training of medical professionals, donation of medical supplies, executive-level exchange visits, public health education, and international patient referral services—CCH has strengthened healthcare collaboration and industry linkages with Papua New Guinea, promoting the development of a sustainable healthcare system in its partner country.

自2011年起，彰化基督教醫院每年持續舉辦「台商回娘家感恩餐會」，長期陪伴並守護海外台商的健康。今年（2026）3月30日，由醫療長張尚文醫師代表總院長陳穆寬醫師，與越南台商聯合總會洪志華總會長正式簽署合作備忘錄（MOU），進一步拓展台商在健康照護、健康諮詢及遠距醫療等多元服務上的合作。本次簽署儀式由越南台灣商會聯合總會名譽總會長楊玉鳳與蔡文瑞，以及近百位貴賓共同見證，現場氣氛隆重而熱烈。隨後一年一度感恩餐會溫馨展開，吸引來自越南、柬埔寨、寮國、緬甸，甚至遠從美國返台的台商逾百人踴躍參與，齊聚一堂、交流情誼。

< CCH Hosts Appreciation Banquet and Signs MOU with The Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam >
Since 2011, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) has hosted the annual “Taiwanese Business Community Homecoming Appreciation Banquet,” demonstrating its long-standing commitment to supporting and safeguarding the health of Taiwanese businesspeople overseas.
On March 30, 2026, Dr. Shang-Wen Chang, Chief of Medical Affairs, represented Superintendent Dr. Mu-Kuan Chen in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mr. Hung Chih-Hua, President of the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam (CTCVN). This partnership aims to further expand collaboration in healthcare services, medical consultation, and telemedicine support for Taiwanese businesses abroad.
Witnessed by Honorary Presidents Mrs. Yu-Feng Yang and Mr. Richard Tsai of CTCVN, along with other distinguished guests, the event brought together over 100 Taiwanese businesspeople from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and the United States. Highlights included Traditional Chinese Medicine consultations, health check-up packages, and a featured talk on lung health by Dr. Hsin-Mei Kuo.
In his remarks, Dr. Chang emphasized that CCH will always serve as a trusted and caring “home away from home” for Taiwanese businesspeople. He warmly welcomed everyone to return to Taiwan and reaffirmed the hospital’s ongoing commitment to protecting their health and well-being with professionalism and compassion.
With more than 100 enthusiastic participants, the event featured lively interactions and meaningful exchanges, highlighting the strong and enduring bond between CCH and Taiwanese business communities worldwide.

3月25日，本院接待崇仁醫護管理專科學校醫療商務外語科師生一行21人蒞院參訪，行程包括參觀蘭大衛醫師院史館及海外醫療中心。透過導覽解說，師生們深入了解創院宣教師蘭大衛醫師來臺行醫與傳教的歷史，以及本院長年致力推動之海外醫療宣教事工與國際合作成果。此次參訪不僅讓學生們認識本院深厚的人文精神與醫療使命，也啟發其對國際醫療服務與跨文化溝通之興趣，進一步拓展醫療專業結合語言能力之多元發展視野。

On March 25, 2026, Changhua Christian Hospital (CCH) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of 21 students and faculty member from the Department of Medical and Commercial Foreign Languages at Chung-Jen Junior College of Nursing, Health Sciences and Management. During their visit, the group toured the Dr. David Landsborough III Museum and the Overseas Medical Mission Center.
Through guided introductions, participants gained insight into the legacy of our founder, Dr. David Landsborough III, as well as CCH’s ongoing commitment to advancing overseas medical missions and international healthcare collaboration.
