一群青年肩負著守護這片土地與文化的使命，承載著耆老的智慧與青年對未來的夢想，並持續創造深度結合的價值。
從太魯閣族文化的推廣，到在地山蘇產業的多元連結，我們的腳步從未停歇。近四年來，我們以愛與希望守護這片土地，打造出一系列深具意義的體驗與產品——從結合在地食材的一桌桌料理、四色麵、防蚊液，到多樣化地方商品。
我們用雙手傳遞自然與生活，讓更多人感受後山的溫暖力量。我們不僅是一個企業，更是一份信念──守護與傳承。

🌿 A Warm Welcome to Young Farmers from Yilan at Houshan Jueqi 🌿

Today, we were delighted to welcome a group of young farmers from Yilan to Houshan Jueqi. Through meaningful conversations, local cuisine, and hands-on experiences, we shared our journeys in agriculture and local community development.

At lunchtime, everyone enjoyed a flavorful set meal featuring local ingredients, offering a taste of the land and its unique character. Afterwards, the group joined a special DIY activity to make three-color egg rolls, featuring bird nest fern, red quinoa, and turmeric. Through this fun and creative experience, we explored new possibilities for transforming local agricultural products into value-added creations.

One of the highlights of the visit was a sharing session led by the founder of Houshan Jueqi, who spoke about returning home, working in agriculture, preserving Indigenous culture, and the journey of promoting local revitalization over the years.

We believe that every person who chooses to stay, return home, and contribute to their community is helping create meaningful change for their hometown.

We also hope to continue carrying this sense of responsibility and commitment toward local revitalization—deepening our roots in the land, creating greater value through agriculture, sharing our culture with more people, and inspiring more young people to see the possibilities of returning home and building a future in their communities.

Thank you to our young farmer friends from Yilan for visiting us today. We look forward to more opportunities for exchange and collaboration in the future, and to growing stronger local communities together. 🌱

Today, our guests stepped into the bird nest fern fields and experienced harvesting fresh ferns by hand, learning about how they grow and the connection between the land and local community life.

They then joined a creative pearl-making activity, transforming local ingredients into handmade pearls through a fun and hands-on experience. ✨

The journey continued with a guided walk through the park, where guests learned about Truku culture, the history of Jiamin Village, and the stories of the local community.

From harvesting bird nest fern and making pearls to exploring the park, this was more than just an activity—it was a meaningful journey to discover the land, culture, and stories of the Truku community.

風穿過山谷，我們張開雙臂，熱情迎來鄰近「凱歌園少年中途之家」的孩子們，在「後山蕨起」展開一場深度的文化共振與食農探索。

這一天，少年們放慢腳步，細細品嚐土地的氣息與歲月的滋味。大家穿梭在蓊鬱的蕨園中，親手摘採鮮嫩翠綠的山蘇、揉捏出繽紛溫暖的三色珍珠，並親自烹調出屬於大地的純粹美味；在園區裡辨認野生植物的韌性，更拉開太魯閣族的傳統弓箭，在專注瞄準的瞬間，感受文化血脈中的力量與沉靜。

最動人的，是圍坐在一起傾聽園區哥哥姊姊們的職人故事。那些來自泥土的堅持、面對挑戰的勇氣，以及將熱愛化為專業的歷程，如同一顆顆種子悄悄落入孩子們的心田。

Rising Ferns: Learning from the Land, Lighting the Way for Tomorrow's Youth

As the breeze swept through the valley, we opened our arms in warm welcome to the youth from our neighboring "Kaige Home for Youth" (凱歌園少年中途之家), gathering together at "Rising Ferns" (後山蕨起) for a meaningful journey of cultural resonance and hands-on agri-food exploration.

On this day, the youth slowed their pace to savor the subtle breath of the earth and the rich essence of time. Wandering through lush, emerald fern gardens, they handpicked tender bird's-nest ferns, crafted vibrant tri-color tapioca pearls from scratch, and stepped into the kitchen to prepare the pure, wholesome flavors of nature. Through identifying wild resilient plants across the grounds and drawing the traditional Truku bow, they felt the quiet power and focus rooted in indigenous heritage with every aimed arrow.

Most touching of all were the moments spent listening to our staff share their professional journeys and artisan craftsmanship. Stories of persistence rooted in the soil, courage in the face of adversity, and the passion of turning what one loves into a career quietly planted seeds of hope in the hearts of each young person.

Seeing the spark in their eyes and their attentive gazes made it clear that this was not merely a warm gathering, but an enduring blessing. May the embrace of the mountains and the resilience of our mentors accompany these youth along their future career paths and life journeys—just like the ferns of our back mountains: deeply rooted, fearless through the storm, and rising with courage and confidence!

沿著靜謐的步道緩步漫遊，微風吹拂過樹梢，腳步也跟著慢了下來。我們穿梭在綠意盎然的蕨類森林裡，親手觸摸葉片的紋理，認識了充滿生命力的山蘇。從山蘇的生長習性，到採摘時的講究，每一個小發現都讓城市裡習慣了忙碌的身心獲得了徹底的舒放。

大自然的療癒力量，加上摯友相聚的歡聲笑語，讓這段時光變得格外珍貴。當我們在山林間仰望天空、大口呼吸時，心裡暗暗下了一個決定：這片土地的美好與寧靜，值得帶上全家人再次回到這裡，重新感受大地的溫度，寫下更多屬於我們的後山故事。

Sunlight filtered through the trees, and the air carried the sweet, crisp scent unique to the East Rift Valley and the surrounding mountains. On this day, we welcomed a couple who traveled all the way from Taipei to gather with us at "Ferns Rising."

We strolled leisurely along the tranquil trail as gentle breezes brushed through the treetops, naturally slowing our pace. Wandering through the lush green fern forest, we touched the delicate textures of the leaves and learned about the resilient Bird's-nest fern. From its growth habits to the care involved in harvesting it, every little discovery brought deep relaxation to minds and bodies long accustomed to the fast pace of the city.

The healing power of nature, paired with the joyous laughter of dear friends, made this time extraordinarily precious. As we looked up at the sky and took deep breaths among the mountains, a quiet decision took root in our hearts: the beauty and tranquility of this land deserve a return visit with our entire family, to feel the warmth of the earth once more and write more of our own backcountry stories

A journey from afar brought our sisters from National D**g Hwa University to gather with us in warmth at "Rising Ferns" (後山蕨起). More than a simple visit, this was a profound encounter of cultural resonance and hands-on agri-food experience.

Beneath the mountains where the gentle breeze blows, we breathed in harmony with the land, savoring the subtle scents of the East Rift Valley and the rich flavors shaped by time. Wandering through the lush, emerald fern gardens, everyone handpicked tender bird's-nest ferns, feeling the moisture of morning dew and the grounded warmth of the soil on their fingertips. Stepping into the kitchen, we transformed these gifts from nature into heartwarming, locally inspired dishes.

From picking to cooking, from tactile touch to rich flavor, food became our most heartfelt language. Amidst the lively kitchen aromas and shared laughter, we opened our hearts to one another—making this gathering not just a fond memory, but a deep bond woven from land, culture, and human connection.

Today, we welcomed our friends from Yunlin with a table full of flavorful dishes inspired by Indigenous tribal cuisine. ❤️
From locally sourced ingredients to traditional Indigenous dishes, every plate captures the unique flavors of Hualien and the spirit of the local community.

Thank you for making the journey to Houshan Jueqi! It was wonderful sharing delicious food, stories, and the warmth of the mountains and tribal community with you.
