【2026 Taiwan-Korea WOCN Academic Exchange Event | A Resounding Success! ✨】🇰🇷 🤝 🇹🇼
The event commenced with a warm and enthusiastic opening address by WOCN Feng-Hsiang Chou. Following the introduction, Dr. Shih-Ching Chang, Chief of the Division of Colon and Re**al Surgery, was specially invited to deliver the welcoming remarks to honor the visit of KAWOCN and provide an inspiring introduction to the subsequent academic exchanges.
💡 Advancing Professional Roles｜WOCN Jui-Ping Lin shared insights on "The Role and Case Studies of WOC Nurses at Taipei Veterans General Hospital," demonstrating Taiwan’s profound strength in specialized ostomy care. 💪
🌏 Connecting International Experiences｜WOCN Cho Mi Kyung from South Korea presented on "Stoma Management in Korea (EUMC): including Cases," sparking dynamic new ideas for international clinical practice. ✨
In addition to the intensive academic exchanges, WOCN Li-Li Lin guided everyone on a relaxing tour around the famous "Wangyou Lake" eco-pond at Taipei VGH, offering a peaceful moment to refresh. 🌿🦆 Finally, led by WOCN Hsien-Min Yu, the group visited the "Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Care Consultation Clinic" on the 5th floor of the Third Outpatient Clinic Building, where valuable experiences regarding clinic layout and workflow design were shared. 📋🔍
