Why Does a 64-Year-Old Doctor Still Go to the Gym? (≈60 seconds)
"I'm often asked, 'Dr. B, you're 64 years old. Why do you still go to the gym three or four times a week?'
My answer is simple: I don't exercise to look younger—I exercise to stay healthier, stronger, and independent.
After 35 years as a doctor and 15 years in the ICU, I've seen too many people lose their health because they waited until they became sick. Most chronic diseases don't happen overnight—they develop over many years.
That's why I believe muscle is one of the best investments for healthy aging. Strong muscles help you move better, prevent falls, improve metabolism, and maintain your independence.
Remember: Health is not an expense—it is the best investment of your life.
