MEET the vendors … Organic Mac Shopping Centre
Organic Mac Shopping Centre has participated as a vendor in the Oysterbay Farmers Market since the market started in 2013. Organic Mac carries a range of organic products. The owner, Elezer Sheizer, has been working with organic products since he opened his shop 10 years ago. The shop is based in Dar es Salaam at "Morogoro Store" but its goods come from cities and villages across Tanzania including Tanga, Iringa and Morogoro. “I am proud to sell organic products,” says Elezer. Some of the products you can find at his table include fruits, brown rice, salt, seeds, green tea, raisins, oyster nuts, garlic, sardines, spices, honey, jam and chilly.
For Elezer, the quality of organic products is what makes his company stand out. “Organic food is the best choice for a healthy lifestyle and I want to continue to educate people about the difference between organic and non-organic food,” he explains.
Elezer believes that the farmers market is a perfect place for him to promote his products and interact with new customers. By showcasing my products at the market I am able to inform people about the benefits of living a healthy and organic lifestyle,” says Elezer.
