Today’s lecture by Jacob Stegenga brought together 140+ participants Zoom simply couldn’t hold everyone 😄 We had to open an additional room, but that only shows how special this event truly was.

We invite all conference participants to attend a lecture by a distinguished scholar:

🎓 Jacob Stegenga
Professor, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Researcher, University of Cambridge

📌 Topic: Principles for Public Health Guidance

Jacob Stegenga is a philosopher of science who has published on topics in general philosophy of science, philosophy of medicine, and philosophy of biology. He is the author of Medical Nihilism and Care and Cure: An Introduction to Philosophy of Medicine. His latest book, Heart of Science, was published in early 2026. Prior to joining NTU, he taught at the University of Cambridge and received his PhD from the University of California, San Diego.
