At Karin Community Initiative Uganda (KCIU), we believe that strong families are built when both mothers and fathers actively participate in the health and wellbeing of their children. One of the ways we continue to strengthen community health is by encouraging greater male involvement in maternal and child healthcare.

Karin Community Initiative Uganda promotes male involvement in maternal and child healthcare by recognizing fathers who actively support their families during immunization and healthcare visits.

At Karin, we believe that prevention begins at the source. Many of our patients and neighbors rely on a shared borehole located at our facility. While access to water is vital, ensuring that water remains uncontaminated from the source to the home is a collective responsibility.

Karin Community Initiative Uganda kicks off Prevention Month with a community dialogue on WASH and safe water. Learn how we are empowering mothers and forming community committees to manage local boreholes and prevent waterborne diseases.
