Yesterday 10th March, we had a beautiful International Women’s Day celebration in our community, It was a powerful moment to recognize the resilience and leadership of women.

Two dance groups(women) from The roots.4 performed and shared powerful cultural performances that brought joy to the celebration, It was also an honor for us to exhibit our products made by hardworking women from community dialogue groups.
These products represent the determination of women who are working to support their families in the camp.

we were happy to see women and young people come together to share their talents and showcase their product.

We are very grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to make this day meaningful.

Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 🩸
It’s time to take action and ensure that, No woman Left Behind 🌍

In Rubondo community where culture is alive and unity is strong but women and girls still face barriers to basic healthcare and access to menstrual products, information, and safe spaces is limited.

But these women are rewriting the story. They are raising their voices, and their heads high to say:

"My period is not a problem. Your silence is."

✅Menstruation should never be a barrier.
✅Healthcare is a right, not a privilege.
✅ Empowerment begins with access and dignity.

✅Girls should be able to attend school ,sport and participate in community activities.

✅Never tease, shame or laugh at someone on their period.
