RIHSI Ltd registered as an NGO in Sept 2024. Mandated to serve nationally. It is with an experienced core team and would like to continue contributing towards the Ministry of Health Goals and Government of Uganda 2040 Middle Income Status Strategies. Working with Makerere University Walter Reed Program to institutionalize CQI across the 6 districts of North Central Uganda. Between 2019 and 2022, it worked closely with the World Health Organization (Uganda office) to lead the Global Initiative for rolling out the standards for improving both maternal and newborn quality of care in 6 pilot districts. Shortly, while working with Baylor Uganda, provided technical expertise to over 100 professionals including obstetricians, paediatricians, anaesthialogists using CQI approach to improve the World Bank funded Uganda Reproductive Maternal and Children Improvement Program (URMCHIP) Clinical Mentorships at selected sites nationwide. It is looking for potential funds to start work on addressing adolescent girls and young people with HIV challenges. Also, participating in a MoH/Academia study to evaluate the impact of service delivery integration. We have supported districts to address the increasing numbers of Interruption in ART treatment (IIT) among PLHIV.
