Veterans and their families deserve better. 🇺🇸

Express Scripts is manipulating the TRICARE pharmacy program to benefit its own pharmacy operations. Even worse, they’re starving independent pharmacies like ours when we try to serve TRICARE patients.

A Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) should never be able to control where patients get their medications and steer them toward pharmacies it owns or profits from, while independent community pharmacies are left fighting for access.

Veterans should be able to choose their pharmacy. Independent pharmacies should be paid fairly for the care they provide. And TRICARE should put patients before PBM profits.

Enough is enough.

Lawmakers are calling for an independent audit of TRICARE’s pharmacy program amid concerns that the contractor tasked with managing the program is pushing servicemembers toward its own pharmacies and driving out smaller retailers.
