Pretty rose from the other day I did at Sacred Art! This was one of the pieces chosen by one of my recent “r @ ffle” winners! He sat like a champ like usual!! Donnie Edwards, I love your ideas always, and it was great seeing you & Kathy!

Message me if you’re interested in getting a rose from me! I can do roses in a multitude of styles! This is definitely one of my favorite styles personally but I can do roses a little bit more realistic without a harsh border, or obviously I can do it more Traditional with a thicker liner, or even more Neo-Traditional as well!

Hello!! If you don’t know me; let’s change that this year!
My name is Megan & I’ve been tattooing since 2020 at Sacred Art here in Abilene, Tx! I just recently celebrated my 4th year as a certified Tattoo Artist & am excited to say that I don’t see an end in sight!! I love what I do! ⭐️

✨This is my take on the most recent “trend” going around! (No help from AI programs; on this project or any project I’ve done!)
I decided to make it more of a “meet the artist” in case some of clients/future clients wanted to get to know me a little better!✨

A little about me:

I married my “boy best friend” of 10 years last August & am a bonus mom to the most wonderful young man! Love my little family so much! I’ve been a manga/anime fan since the early 2000’s when I stumbled on to a vhs of sailor moon & knew that was peak media even at 8 years old. Some of my favorite anime series are Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, Neon Genesis, Fruits Basket, & My Hero Academia! (Would love to hear your favorites!).

In my free time when I’m not doing the wife & bonusmom stuff, tattooing, setting up appointments, or drawing for my next appointment lol: I enjoy skateboarding, painting, listening to music, & catching up with my best friends/family when we can make that happen!

I’ll say I definitely grew into quite the social butterfly these last few years & that my tattoo journey really has changed me for the better! One of my favorite compliments that I’ve recieved in my career is that “I make people feel so comfortable when they’re getting a tattoo from me!” Melted my heart hearing that for the first time and it felt just as good the most recent time!!!
(11 yr old me could NEVER 😆)

As far as tattoos go- I love tattooing floral, anime, manga/comic panels, women (in general), paw prints, script, you-affirming tattoos (that are in my wheelhouse!), and anything bold (American traditional, Neo traditional, blackwork, etc). I take doing memorial tattoos very seriously, & do enjoy opening up a space for my client to talk about their loved one but will not push it. It’s not the most “exciting” part of the job but it is one of the most beautiful parts about it.
Even if your tattoo idea is not on my list, I am always down to hear your idea out!! Some of my most complimented pieces were styles I don’t usually do so it can’t hurt to ask! Message me if you have any questions or if you want to go ahead & set up your next appointment!

I have plenty of availability for the end of June & July! I have time for smaller appointments and consultations in the next 2 weeks here & there so definitely reach out!! ⭐️

Didn’t take a “before” photo unfortunately but this was a photo I took during the stencil process before I got it how we wanted it! So technically it’s a before pic lol. 😆
Love how this tattoo came out & as always I appreciate the trust that comes with reworking a tattoo! I don’t take on every cover up project but when I feel like it’s in my range of experience it’s always a pleasure getting to bring a tattoo “back to life”!

Opening up my schedule to “evening appointments” again!
For me this means I’m open to setting up appointments for 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm if I’m given enough time in advance to plan accordingly.
I will still be taking 10am appointments on Sundays & Thursdays and I’ll be available anytime after 2pm on Tuesdays & Saturdays.

I’ve lost plenty of wonderful clients only due to not having evening availability in the past so I’m hoping by changing my schedule around a bit I can make this better for everyone!

I started my tattoo journey in 2020 at Sacred Art and graduated my apprenticeship May 17, 2022. It is one of the greatest things I’ve experienced & I’m grateful to be here. Wouldn’t be here without my wonderful clients who keep coming back! This one’s for yall just as much as it is me! Ideally I will “break even” on this sale & will be buying an even better tattoo machine than what im using!🤘🏻 So excited to see how this turns out. Message me if you have any questions!!
