📚 Did you know? Every child in our program receives 1 book every month to take home!
Fun facts:
📘Children who are read to regularly can hear up to 1.4 million more words by age 5 than children who are rarely read to. That’s why literacy matters!
📕Reading to children increase their vocabulary which increases reading development. This is so important for all ages and goes beyond just the importance of reading.
📙Stories let children see characters experience big feelings, helping kids recognize and talk through their own emotions.
📗 The physical contact of being held while listening to a familiar voice boosts the brain’s receptivity to learning and attachment.
