Join Breece Bryan, Tamara McNaughton, & Robyn Raines with donation-based “pay what you can” sessions celebrating International Day of Yoga and Summer Solstice on Sat, June 20 at Whitetop Yoga! Breece will kick things off at 8:30a with an energetic, summer-welcoming class. Then at 9:45a, Tamara will lead a centering, calming practice to help sit comfortably during 108 aums, led by Robyn. Participants may arrive either at 8:30 or 9:45a with the entire event expected to end approx. 11:30.

If attending the 108 oms, be sure to bring your mala beads (and extras to share if you’re able/willing) or plan to purchase your own at the studio. (Mala beads include 108 beads on a string.) The beads are used to count as we create a chorus of oms which will cool down, calm down, and center each of us in a beautiful, vocal meditation. Why 108? 108 is a sacred number that shows up in many world religions, mathematics, and science. 108 connects the sun, moon, and earth.

All donations will go to support WTY’s good friend, Rajesh Joshi, and his water conservation projects in Jodhpur, India.

Goats NOT Yoga 😉 As you may know, Robyn and her husband, Chris, have a dairy goat farm, The Southern Ten here on the property with Whitetop Yoga. Their purebred Nigerian Dwarf goats have just completed kidding season welcoming eighteen new, adorable baby goats (kids)! Now that everyone has kidded, we’re ready to share the opportunity for an hour-long farm visit, including cuddling a kid.

Space is limited with a max group of four; consideration will be made for larger family groups.

Suggested donation is $15 per person. Donor benefits include free samples of Southern Ten dairy products (once milking begins approx. mid-June) and first dibs to sign up for herdshares (how you can continue to enjoy our delicious, nutritious products). 

“Goats Not Yoga” is offered (for a limited time) on Saturdays from 10-11am and Sundays 2:45-3:45pm (or by appointment with a $50 minimum donation).

All participants will be asked to sign that you understand and agree to the following:
✨ Meet at Whitetop Yoga parking lot on time, as visit will start and end promptly. 
✨ Participants will be mindful of walking on sloped, grassy/dirt terrain with potential trip hazards and will follow instruction provided throughout the experience. ✨ If interested in holding baby goats, please dress appropriately in clothes you do not mind getting dirty.  
✨ To keep both humans and animals safe, all participants will wear provided shoe coverings and wash hands (w/ hot water and soap) at the goat barn before and after visit. No hand sanitizer allowed before handling goats. 
✨Photos are allowed unless otherwise stated at the time of your tour. Be mindful to not capture other humans in photos.
✨ The Southern Ten (Robyn Raines & Chris Lambert) is a working farm environment. Participants assume the risk of an outdoor livestock farm experience.

From March-July WTY's Book Club, led by Tamara McNaughton, will discuss the feminine working with Sally Kempton's book "Awakening Shakti: The Transformative Power of the Goddesses of Yoga." Join us for an online, monthly group gathering to discuss the ten Great Wisdom Goddesses of the East! We Zoom the second Tuesday of every month 7:15-8:15 pm; free to join and livestream only.
