Hey friends!

Thanks to all who have supported this small mission to create a natural tick repellant over the past 5 years!

I’m so pleased to announce that this page’s content will be moving to where I will be sharing posts for the Ticked Off blend alongside the 4 other oils that make up the entire wellness line.

It’s been such a pleasure to watch the line grow and now I am moving towards distribution in local shops and farm stands around my home base in Accord, NY (where everything is hand made with a whole lotta ❤️)

Full line and some other blends for the Bone Hollow Apothecary are fully stocked in High Falls NY.
And as the mosquitos are popping back up just a reminder that all of the oils and soaps also include essential oils that are natural bug repellants!
Bathe with the bar soap daily to make sure the scent is all over your skin for an easy way to be less tasty to mosquitos (and ticks)

Back in action with tick season going nuts here in the Northeast.
Making a batch of bar soaps with organic flowers for exfoliating and nurturing the skin.
This soap is my favorite (assuming you shower every day, no judgement if you don’t!) way to naturally protect my skin from being tasty to ticks and bugs. And I still love the smell even after 3 years developing and refining this scent and making countless products with it!

Did ya know it’s super easy and cost effective to make your own house cleaning products? .
A clean home is super important this time of year as temperatures drop and days get shorter annnnd the ticks start to come back in full force.

Keep your home clean and tick free with a simple homemade cleaning spray that will save ya some serious $$$ on over priced cleaning products.

All you need is a clean spray bottle, water and the pure Ticked Off essential oil blend (or any essential oils that you would like to use). Add 1 dropper full for each 8oz of water and shake well before each use.

You can spray your new cleaner on floors and wood and tile surfaces and it will help to keep the tick repelling scent of and going strong in your house for all to enjoy!
And adding moisture to the air in your home is also great as the heat comes on indoors and everything (including your sinuses) starts to dry out.
This 100% blend is also infused with and all of which are great for the respiratory system and preventative for your immune system. .

Gettin’ crafty on a Thursday night and making a new batch of the all natural tick & flea repellant blend for my dog & cats. .
This is a 100% natural and non toxic alternative to the typical tick & flea treatments for pets, many of which are super harmful to their skin and immune systems. I make a batch of this stuff every 2-3 months and store it in a glass jar and then soak my pets collars over night in it once a week.
Thanks to all the inquiries here is a picture book step by step recipe to make it yourself and all ya need is the Ticked Off pure oil and some (which is also great for pets to keep their coat shiny and dandruff free!)
So here’s all ya need:
*a wide mouth 16oz or larger glass jar with lid .
*3/4 cup water
*1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
*1 full dropper of the Ticked Off pure oil (not what’s in the roll on version)
*nylon pet collars
Then...
Mix all the ingredients in the glass jar and add the collars. Shake it up and let collars sit overnight, or for a quicker saturation of the collars shake it for 30 seconds. Remove collars and wipe excess liquid off with a rag. I try to wipe the extra liquid off back into the jar so you can reuse it next time. Then I use the rag to wipe down my animal’s backs for extra coverage. Place collars on your pets and seal off the glass jar with the remaining mixture storing it in a cool dark place. Repeat once a week!
BOOM 💥 that’s it!!!
