Ever wonder what this device is? 👀

This is a tension dynamometer (Tindeq 500).

Think of it like the scale you use at the grocery store—it measures how much force is being applied to it.

In the clinic, we use it to objectively measure quad strength, which is a key part of ACL rehab and return-to-sport progression.

Why it matters:
Strong quadriceps help us understand how well the knee is recovering after injury and guide safe progression back to running, jumping, and sport.

We track this data because getting strength close to the other side is one of many important benchmarks we look at before returning to higher-level activity.

It’s one piece of a much bigger puzzle—but an important one when it comes to building confidence and capacity after injury.
