Poses & Prayers Poses & Prayers is a community group uniting mind, body, breath & Spirit. No experience in either in yoga or prayer necessary. All are welcome in this community.

This 60 minute FREE class is a unique blend of mindful movement and prayer that helps to increase our flexibility, and simultaneously deepens our relationship with God. Please bring a yoga mat, dress in layers, and come with an open mind. Class begins at 8:30am. Arrive by 8:20 to get settled in.

We just want to thank you for spending some of your valuable time attending class, moving your bodies, and opening space to connect with God.
We love that everybody has their own spiritual journey and we believe that this exploration enriches our lives in so many ways.
We are here to create the space to explore, and we’re encouraged by the feedback you’re sharing that tells the stories of softened hearts and deeper understanding. So let’s keep going 👍🏼

Ever said to yourself, “ I just need a minute”

Understandable. I think we all say or think it to ourselves when life feels heavy or is moving too quickly.

Heard. So let’s slow the play down for an evening. Take some contemplative time on your mat, move your body, and spend some time in a prayerful environment (we promise we won’t make it weird lol)

This Friday, 2/6 (first Friday of every month)
1110 National Ave in Addison. All participants over 16 welcome.

Class starts at 6:30pm. Doors open at 6:15pm

Class is beginner friendly. Bring a mat if you have one and dress in light layers.

Doesn’t matter where you are in your faith journey or even if you have one. Just come. Leave feeling lighter and connected.

Class is followed by light snacks that are always rad (Thanks Teri). Bring a friend if you’d like. We’ve got room.

Hi P&P crew!
A new year is almost upon us and we’ve received many requests for opportunities to grow our faith in ways that extend beyond the walls of a Poses & Prayers class.

One of the absolute best ways to to explore and/or deepen our faith is to learn more about who God is thru reading the Bible. Sounds fun right? 😊

Actually it can be really meaningful, relatable, and yes enjoyable, and one way to do this is to participate in a Bible reading plan.

There are many impactful plans but this one in particular comes with short animated videos that bring the content to life. And it’s free 👍🏼

It doesn’t matter what your experience is with reading the Bible. Anyone can participate and you will get something out of it.

I’ll drop the plan link in the comments section but know you are ALL invited.

I’ve included images of what the app looks like (download it) and what the plan looks like so you know you’re in the right place.

We start on Thursday. Message us with questions. Let’s explore, learn, and grow our faith together!
