The next Blue Full Moon is a reminder that rare moments ask us to pause, release, and realign. 🌕✨ A second full moon in one season carries potent energy for reflection, deep cleansing, and breaking cycles that no longer serve us.

As I move through my gut reset ritual with bitter herb tinctures, I’m leaning into the ancient wisdom that healing begins in the gut — where intuition, nourishment, and transformation meet. Bitters awaken digestion, support the liver, and invite the body back into balance, while the Blue Moon reminds us that true wellness is often found in slowing down and listening inward.

This moon, I’m releasing stagnation, honoring my body, and creating space for clarity, vitality, and renewal. 🌿

Frolicking in Peony Lane at the Apothecary, I wanted to share how you can preserve the longevity of the peony for months to come! Preserving peony blooms is a gentle way of holding onto spring a little longer 🌸
Dry them for tea, infuse them into oils, press them into keepsakes, or simply let their beauty remind you that nature was never meant to be rushed. ✨

There are some plans to incorporate the dry flower into the apothecary offerings, but for now I wanted to share with you how you can preserve the blooms for later!

To preserve fresh peony blooms for up to 3 months:
- harvest them at the “marshmallow stage” (when the bud shows color and feels soft like a marshmallow).
- strip the leaves, wrap the dry buds in plastic wrap dry paper towels.
- store them horizontally in the refrigerator until you are ready to display them.

A little dilly-dallying around the apothecary Sunday. Our body was calling for rest, but our minds knew better. Dreams aren’t built on the couch. Teaching our kids hard work for real results. The best part is that in a world full of more technology than anyone knows what do with, and endless screen time, the kids would choose to help build, to learn, and to find their purpose in the days chores. 🫶🏼 There is no better medicine than fresh air, the earth on your feet and in your hands, sunlight Vitamin D, and whole hearted laughter.
