I’ve received some messages from people saying there are other “artist” claiming to work at Dixie Ink & Art, and having people pay a set up fee as a deposit.
I am a solo artist shop, and don’t have any other artists or apprentices.

✨ Meet the Owner of August's Small Business of the Month: Rachel of Dixie Ink and Art ✨

Behind every small business is a story, and for Rachel, the story of Dixie Ink and Art is deeply rooted in faith, family, and community.

Rachel and her family moved to Cook County in 2019 after her husband, Tanner, completed his service in the U.S. Navy. When it came time to choose a home for her studio, Rachel knew she wanted to be in Adel, not only because it was close to home, but because she saw a town that was growing and a community where she could see herself putting down roots.

Today, Rachel brings her passion for tattoo artistry and traditional art to Dixie Ink & Art, creating a studio where EVERYONE can feel welcome, comfortable, and at home.

And yes, even the littlest members of the family are welcome! Rachel has intentionally created a family-friendly environment, so don't worry about bringing the kids along to your appointment. 🎨✨

One thing Rachel wants her customers to know? God and family are the most important things in her life, and she strives to let those values shine through in her business. ❤️
