Day 2- all about the respiratory 🫁 and cardiovascular 🫀 systems! Students created clay lungs, then created thoracic cavities and were able to demonstrate how lungs worked! Finally- we learned about the heart- dissected hearts, and found our pulses! It was a great day for learning!

CTE summer camp -Day 1!
We started out with infection control, learning how to don and doff PPE. Then we collected our own bacteria and hoping to see some growth by Thursday. Then we moved onto the gastrointestinal system. We learned how the gastrointestinal system works and simulated crackers going through the G.I. system, and they made their own “fake” f***s. A HUGE thank you for our Camp ambassadors, Baylee Sims, Brooklyn Tager and Austin Heape! Always amazing! Camp couldn’t be successful without them!
