Perimenopause doesn’t always announce itself with hot flashes and missed periods.

Sometimes it sounds more like:

“I just don’t feel like myself anymore.”

You’re more tired.

Your patience is thinner.

Sleep feels weird.

Your brain feels foggy.

Your body feels softer or puffier.

The things that used to work for fat loss don’t seem to work the same.

And because nothing feels dramatically “wrong,” you start blaming yourself.

Maybe I’ve gotten lazy.

Maybe I need to be more disciplined.

Maybe this is just what getting older feels like.

But sometimes, the first clue is simply that you don’t feel like you.

That doesn’t mean your body is broken.

It may mean your strategy needs to evolve with this stage of life.

More strength.

More protein.

Better recovery.

Less punishment.

And if you’re 35+ and this hit a little too close to home, stick around.

We’re going to be talking a lot more about perimenopause, strength, fat loss, energy, confidence, and how to feel like yourself again through this stage of motherhood.

Trying to get results fast?

Don’t rely on extreme plans you can’t maintain.

Got an event coming up?
You don’t need to obsess over the scale or drastically cut calories.

Want to make progress?
You don’t need to jump from one extreme program to the next.

Build habits you can actually stick with.

Because progress isn’t about going all in for a few weeks.

It’s about creating a routine that still works when the deadline is gone. 💪

Your mindset matters just as much as the plan ❤️

Quick question: Do you tend to go all in, or focus on what you can maintain? 👇

**“I eat pretty healthy.”**

**“I work out when I can.”**

We hear these phrases from moms all the time.

And usually, they’re telling the truth.

They *are* trying.

The problem is that “pretty healthy” and “when I can” don’t give you much feedback about why your body isn’t changing.

That’s the **Winging-It Mom.**

She isn’t lazy.

She doesn’t need another motivational speech.

She’s often already putting in a surprising amount of effort.

But there’s no clear system connecting that effort to the result she wants.

So she’s guessing:

Am I eating enough protein?

Am I eating too much?

Should I do more cardio?

Should I lift heavier?

Is this workout actually doing anything?

Should I cut carbs?

Is it hormones?

And when every week looks different, progress starts feeling like luck.

This is a huge part of what we do inside the Lean Mom Method.

**We take all that effort and give it direction.**

Because you shouldn’t have to work this hard and still wonder whether you’re doing the right things.

If you’re amazing at **starting** but terrible at staying consistent once life throws you a curveball…

you may be the **All-or-Nothing Mom.**

And no, that doesn’t mean you’re lazy or undisciplined.

Usually, it means you’ve spent years believing consistency looks like:

Never missing workouts.
Never eating off-plan.
Never having a bad weekend.
Never seeing the scale fluctuate.

So the second perfection disappears…

**you disappear too.**

This is one of the biggest things we coach inside the Lean Mom Method:

A missed workout doesn’t require a restart.

Dinner out doesn’t ruin your week.

A sick kid doesn’t erase your progress.

Real consistency is learning how to keep going when the original plan has to change.

Because if your fat-loss strategy only works when life is calm…

**it doesn’t work for a mom.**
