The reason I’m not planting a second crop… I’m a wuss and hate spiders! 🕷️ Every year I plant a Fall crop then make jack go out with me each time to go through spider webs and do most of the picking.
Well today I went out to pick produce. I was accosted by two frogs. 🐸 One went on my boot and one on my finger. Yes I screamed twice!! Then a couple huge grass hoppers jumped at me. This is the sign that it’s about time to be done… right as my tomato’s are thriving.
I am fully aware these are irrational fears, but I have yet to overcome them.

We are on the search to expand our livestock.
Looking for Saanen registered breeding pair that would be good for 4h.

Also looking for khatadin sheep. They don’t need registered.

Went “shopping” in my canning room! Love stocking up on home made goodies!
Side note #1: I refuse to can peas. Just not worth my time. Carrots aren’t ready yet, but terrify me after finding a giant spider in my house last year from them.
Side note #2: yes we still have some Campbell’s left over that we haven’t touched since one of their people made a lovely statement about how garbage their products are. I just need to take them to the food pantry.

Another buckled lid from my superbs makes me so mad. The one that held up in the middle is a cheap Walmart lid!!! Ugh! 😩
