Baskets! Retrogrades! Upcoming eclipses OH MY!

There is some beautiful astrology this week to do some spell work (and I highly recommend you do if you have the capacity) BUT I know sooo many people who are feeling a little wrecked and or unclear as we finish out this Mercury Rx.

This is the spread I’m using to get clarity on how to format my spell work. I knew I wanted to take advantage of this luck but that requires SPECIFICITY! We don’t just ask for “abundance”, right? RIGHT?!

And since we are about to enter Leo season, you may want to layer in additional clarity on how you can show up as a leader in a way that not only benefits you but also your community/communities. This me me me me me me me gimme gimme and then I’m not going to be grateful or lift anyone else up nonsense is so exhausting. 😇

How often should you actually be getting Reiki??

In the Usui lineage, the traditional practice is daily. Beautiful in theory… but let’s be real, that’s not realistic for most of us.

Monthly/bi-monthly is the sweet spot. That’s exactly why we created our Reiki Circle at Worthy.

I also want to clear up a super common misconception: you don’t have to wait until something’s wrong to receive Reiki. A consistent practice isn’t about fixing things once you’re in crisis mode (though it’s amazing for that as well)- it’s about maintenance.

When you’re receiving regular treatments, you build a stronger baseline of nervous system regulation. That doesn’t mean being calm 24/7. It means you’re able to arrive appropriately to whatever’s in front of you. And return to a state of calm with ease.

And there’s something that happens in a group setting that’s hard to replicate - healing alongside others amplifies the energy in the room. It’s a collective reset, not just an individual one.

(And yes — “Reiki Circle” is just the name. We don’t actually sit in a circle 😄 it’s common terminology for group Reiki healing.)

Let’s Check In!

I’ve honestly started to believe the rumors - if you’re seeing this, then it’s meant for you.

We have good news and bad news.

We will start with the good news - GEBO! This is a rune that reminds us we deserve to give AND receive. There is balance to be had on the other side of the bad news. It literally means gift and I relate to the rune as having an additional layer of giving not only physical gifts but giving of your talents and service as well. Everyone has unique gifts to give - what are yours?

The bad news is that you’ve put yourself in a prison of your own making with the 8 of Swords. Whatever situation you’re in, it feels like it can’t change and you’re stuck and you’ll never get out. You can! I promise! It might be hard, it might take time (or sometimes not 😘) but you have all of the tools you need to make a change. And when the 8 of Swords comes up, that starts with changing our mind.
