Community ritual is how we heal through atrocities and traumas. Ritual gives us a place to set what feels unspeakable down, and gives us a space to step through what can keep us immobile.

I’m honored to be invited by Tu Casa to hold ceremony at their “Light Up The Night” event for domestic violence awareness month tomorrow night, Thursday, 10/15 from 6pm-7:30pm at the Alamosa Citizen Center on the North side of Cole Park.

Hope to see you there and if not, light a candle in honor of those who have died, survived and/or are currently living through DV.

We are nearing the season of the thinned veil. We welcome you to join us at the studio with four powerhouse women who will guide you through a shamanic journey, altar building, and ritual offerings to support you in honoring your desired ancestors.

Whether you are new to ritual or seasoned in making offerings, this gathering is supportive for all as we magnify energy when we gather in community.

We are nearly halfway through October and have been enjoying seeing you all back in the studio as our class schedule ramped up for the Fall!

Please note there is NO Vinyasa this coming Thursday, 10/15 and NO Monday yoga 10/19. After this week, .jesschacon will be traveling until mid-November, but all of her classes have subs so you can continue to enjoy yoga. We'll be bringing Candlelight Yoga back real soon so keep your eyes peeled!

We are entering into the season of ceremony! Fall always marks a big time of transition where all energy goes back into the Earth to prepare for birth again on the other side of the medicine wheel. As we approach this new season we also prepare for the "holiday" season which are ritualistic events that we partake in with our communities.

But ritual doesn't have to be saved for a specific day and time, when weaved into our daily lives, it can bring more presence and meaning into our lives...

It has been an honor to be a home for Angela's Shamanic Apprenticeship over the past year. She and her students have blessed the space up in so many ways with their altars, prayers and offerings. As they step into their final weekend at the studio, I'm sending waves of love and gratitude to all of their hearts for gathering in this space!

And with that, I'm excited to share that Angela will be bringing her teacher Garry Caudill to the San Luis Valley to share their teachings with our community! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about Sacred Reciprocity, learn to make offerings and practice offering back to the Earth.
