Happy International Dog Day, Tipsy!
Tipsy is a 7-year-old Australian Shepherd and a certified therapy dog through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, earning her certification in November 2024. Although Australian Shepherds are known for their boundless energy, Tipsy is remarkably calm, gentle, and affectionate. Her quiet presence helps create the welcoming, reassuring environment our patients have come to appreciate at Skin Specialists. Whether she's greeting someone in the waiting room or resting nearby during an appointment, Tipsy has a special way of helping people feel more relaxed and at ease.
Tipsy enjoys belly scratches, long naps, and spending time with her Skin Specialists family. She is known for her incredibly soft, fluffy coat, and patients are always welcome to stop for a few gentle pets if she's on duty. Intelligent, exceptionally well trained, and endlessly patient, she is so well behaved that you'll rarely hear a peep from her in the clinic. Loved by patients and staff alike, Tipsy has become one of the practice's favorite team members, offering comfort, companionship, and the occasional nose boop to help brighten someone's day.
