A general Reiki session takes about thirty minutes to an hour and involves the client either lying down or sitting comfortably while I place my hands either on or hovering above areas of your body that need treatment. A standard treatment usually involves head to toe with focus on the seven chakras (or energy points) in the body. (Please be aware that there will never be touching of the genitals or other private body parts, including any area the client feels uncomfortable with.) This application of healing energy helps the body restore itself to a state of balance, so that it may function normally. Clients often describe feelings of tingling, heat, floating and general relaxation when Reiki is applied. Holy Fire Reiki is safe and even encouraged to use in conjunction with traditional medical treatments and medication, often acting as a benign enhancement to these methods. I offer treatments that run anywhere from fifteen minutes to an hour depending on the needs of the client. I also offer Holy Fire Reiki attunements for those willing to learn this healing technique for themselves:
