They are both licensed Clinical Psychologists with a total of over 100 years of clinical work between them. We are known for:
● Voice Dialogue - a groundbreaking method for meeting and working with the many selves that make up the human psyche. It has been called an active Western Buddhist meditation, a path that leads beyond the identification with selves that constitute our day to day "operatin
g ego", beyond the selves that are "who we think we are" .
● The Aware Ego Process - a new concept that adds fluidity, a spiritual dimension to the traditional "ego", the parts of each of us that know how to operate in the world. This is the process that evolves as we separate from the selves that have dominated our lives and are able to embrace both these selves and their opposites (that - in the past - have been disowned or repressed.) It's a process in which we discover who we are - that we are not what we thought we were - but are more, much more. We move into an ever-broadening, ever-deepening experience of life. And we naturally become more compassionate, less judgmental, and more in touch with what truly belongs to us - what speaks to our souls.
● Our work with relationship: The Psychology of Selves and the Bonding Patterns provide a technology of relationship that allows people to use relationships - all relationships - as teachers and as vehicles for growth. We all have our default systems, ways in which we operate in relationships, all relationships. We can learn about our own patterns and - much like working with a computer program - we can begin to exercise some control over these automatic behaviors, as we learn about the programs, we can behave more consciously and are able to create new "Preferences", new - and more rewarding - ways of relating to others.
● Our work with Energetics There is more to human interactons than meets the eye or the ears. We all experience interactions "in the field" but often don't recognize these.
● Our work with dreams. We see dreams as providing priceless guidance from within, as accessing knowledge that is not available to us in our ordinary waking state.
