In loving memory of our Co-Founder Sam Bakhtiar on his birthday....

Some people are like light.
We need the light of others to help us navigate the world.
Sam did that for so many of us.
He helped us see the light within ourselves.
He found joy in spreading this light;
in sharing his knowledge with others,
in providing value to others,
in supporting others growth and success,
in lifting others up,
and in being genuinely happy for other's wins.
He openly, readily and actively shared his ideas, his connections, his resources...
He never stressed about the competition.
He never worried about what others were doing.
He had an "Abundance Mindset" and believed there’s plenty for everyone.

Sam was kind and most importantly he was humble.
He always demonstrated humility which is what made him such an effective leader.
It made him more relatable and more approachable.
He never forgot where he came from.
His life story is that of The American Dream.
A dream that ended so suddenly as he was ripped away from us.

Lives aren’t just measured in years though.
They’re measured by all the people's lives and hearts we touch.

And while we will ALWAYS miss Sam's bright light, we will always carry a piece of that light with us. Not to hold onto, but to give to others and watch the light grow.

Just as one candle lights another and can light thousands of other candles, so one heart illuminates another heart and can illuminate thousands of other hearts.

There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone...the light remains.

We Are forever grateful for Sam and his passion that brought us together and led us to become the famous AWESOME FIT FAMILY!
