Special Event Announcement!

It's happening again! The Global Gong Puja, September 19/20 - Saturday 10:00pm to Sunday 7:00am, ABQ's 2nd annual gathering for this Global/International happening of vibration for peace and harmony, at Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living Albuquerque Center for Spiritual Living (3701 Carlisle Blvd. NE) Social Hall. This sacred "puja" or devotional ceremony is (ABQ) part of the International Global Gong Puja simultaneous gatherings worldwide, (80+ countries and 1000+ gong players). Douglas will once again join Jesse Kalapa, Elaine Kohrman, and Kristen Loree, who will take turns playing the gongs all night -8 hours of soft playing that induces a gentle trance state for rest and sleep -or meditation -or deep listening -or transcendent journey -or any combinations thereof!

Attendees arrive at 10:00 pm to set up comfortably and get oriented. Opening sacred space is at 10:30pm and the gong players begin. At 6:30am we greet the sunrise with a rousing gong crescendo and close the ceremony. There will be time for debrief to end at 7:00 am. Guests are asked to remain on-site for the 8-hour duration.

Tickets are on a sliding scale: $20-$40 and expected to go fast.

A heartfelt Thank You to everyone who joined us at Monday's free monthly sound series at Cathedral of St John Albuquerque. We love seeing friends, old and new, as well as meeting and welcoming those for the first time.

Together, you've helped create something truly special and it's always different! A welcoming community that continues to gather each month in the spirit of reflection, connection, and the shared, unplugged meditative experience. Even in the triple-digit heat! So many of you chose to spend that part of your evening with us. ❤️‍🔥 Your presence, generosity, and continued support mean more than words can express.

This gathering has long become meaningful to us, and I hope you feel the same. And that you all carry that peaceful energy forward to share with others. 🕊️

Happening Today! 🕊️ Join Douglas and Lotus Sound Bath this evening, Monday, August 3 at 6:30pm, for the Free Monthly Sound Bath at St. Johns (318 Silver Ave. SW - downtown) - a meditative, contemplative, and welcoming event for all to take a needed pause, break from routine, release, unplug (to recharge!), be present, and enjoy the peaceful space we create together. Everyone is welcome! Since 2023, this secular event has occurred every month and grown into a joyful and harmonious gathering thanks to your wonderful presence and support - Thank You & please continue to share. We always look forward to seeing and welcoming old friends and new - and sharing this time with You! 💓

Details: Monday, August 3 at 6:30pm at the Cathedral of St. John - 318 Silver Ave. SW (Silver & 3rd). Please arrive a little early if possible. Parking and entrance on East side. The lot does fill quickly so parking is also available along the street(s) and allowed in the adjacent lot directly South, which is accessed from Lead Ave. Everyone is free to bring comfort items to lie down (but please arrive earlier) and there is also plenty of seating and space within the cathedral. For other's comfort, please avoid strong fragrances. And we kindly request that there is no filming during the sound bath. Thank You. 🙏🏿
