My gorgeous patient came in wanting a subtle enhancement and was very hesitant about looking overdone or unnatural. After a thorough consultation, my recommendation was to add a little more height and structure to the outer portions of the upper lip while preserving her naturally beautiful shape and perfect cupid’s bow 🤍

For many patients, adding height to the upper lip rather than just projection can create better facial harmony and a softer, more elegant result. The perfect mini plump for her beautiful features ✨

Some swelling and redness immediately after filler is completely normal and expected, but these settle beautifully over the next several days. She already loves them so much 🫶

Everything is incredibly expensive right now, including formula and I know so many families are feeling the weight of it. I also know that when times get hard, some parents may try to stretch formula by adding extra water to make it last longer. Please do not do this. Diluting formula can be extremely dangerous for babies and can lead to serious electrolyte imbalances and other medical complications.

I have extra formula and would truly love to help our community. If you have a baby and are struggling, or if you know someone who is, please send them my way. No judgment, no shame, just support. Every baby deserves to be fed safely, and every parent deserves kindness during hard times.

My clinic is by appointment only, so if you are in need, please send me a DM.

Please help spread the word. 🤍

✨ MOTHER’S DAY GIVEAWAY TIME ✨

At Trailblazer Pediatrics, I know moms already carry so much. That’s why I’m giving away a FREE one-year membership to one amazing family — because I want one mama to have one less thing to worry about. ❤️

My practice is built on relationship-based pediatric care with direct access to your provider when you need it most. Whether your child needs a well check, is sick, or you just have questions, you shouldn’t have to fight through phone trees or wait days for answers.

✨ Unlimited pediatric visits
✨ Direct access to your provider
✨ Transparent pricing with NO hidden fees
✨ Well checks, sick visits, and everything in between

…and so much more.

There are no visit limits. Your child can be seen 3 times a month or 20 times a month if needed. I know it sounds too good to be true, but it truly isn’t.

Insurance is important, but insurance alone does not always equal good medical care. Real care means having a provider who knows your child and is accessible when you need them most.

The first question when you call a pediatric office shouldn’t be:
“Do you have insurance?”
It should be:
“How can I help your child?” 💛

To all the moms out there — you are doing an amazing job, and my goal is to help make motherhood just a little easier.

The FDA trying to frame flavored v**e authorization as a “win” for public health because it may help adults transition away from traditional ci******es feels so incredibly misleading to me- especially as someone who works with kids and families every day.

We are watching ni****ne addiction explode in younger generations while fruit flavors, sleek marketing, and “safer alternative” messaging continue to normalize va**ng. Calling it “less harmful” does not suddenly make it healthy.

And honestly, if the concern is truly that so many adults are addicted to traditional ci******es, then why do we keep acting like the only solution is creating new ni****ne-dependent consumers? If this administration can move quickly on major national decisions (ex. war) when they want to, they could absolutely take stronger action against the sale and widespread availability of ci******es and other harmful ni****ne products too.

It’s the money behind all of this. These companies make billions selling highly addictive products to Americans, and somehow the answer continues to be “authorize more.” If there truly were no financial or political interests tied to these industries, I don’t believe these products would continue getting approved and normalized the way they are.

This does not feel like a public health victory. It feels like profit being prioritized while another generation is left dealing with the consequences.

Not all finger injuries are “wait and see” situations 👀

A subungual hematoma (blood trapped under the nail) can be incredibly painful for little ones—and timing truly matters. When evaluated early, we can often relieve that pressure quickly and help prevent unnecessary discomfort.

This is also where having a Direct Primary Care provider really shines ✨
Early access means your child can be seen quickly after an injury—no long waits, no unnecessary delays. That timely evaluation allows us to determine whether simple monitoring is appropriate or if a quick in-office procedure can provide relief and protect the nail as it heals.

The key takeaway: don’t wait it out if your child is in pain after a nail injury. A prompt assessment with a trusted provider can make all the difference in both comfort and outcome.

If you’re unsure, get it checked 💛

Trailblazer Pediatrics is more than just checkups—it’s comprehensive, relationship-driven care all under one roof. From well visits and same-day sick care to labs, procedures, mental health support, and everything in between… this is what pediatric care should feel like.

Today’s setup: getting ready for an ear lavage and a blood draw—because convenience matters and your time matters. No bouncing between clinics. No long waits. Just thoughtful, thorough care.

And this? It’s only part of what I do.

If you’ve been looking for pediatric care that actually shows up for your family—this is it. 🤍

A month-long cough. Worse after play. Fine in between. Sounds like asthma, right? 👀

That’s exactly where we started.

But here’s what matters most in medicine—not just making a diagnosis… but knowing when it no longer fits.

No improvement with treatment. Then a shift—wet cough, more fatigue, subtle changes on exam.

👉 Final answer: pneumonia.

Same child. Same provider. Real-time pivot.

And this is where the bigger picture comes in…

Continuity of care isn’t just convenient—it’s clinically powerful.

Because without it, families are stuck retelling the same story over and over, to different providers, in rushed visits, hoping someone connects the dots.

That’s the reality of fee-for-service medicine.Quick visits. Limited access. You feel like a number in a system.

✨ Direct Primary Care flips that model.

You have time. You have access. You have a provider who actually knows your child’s baseline—and can spot when something changes.

That’s how you catch the pivot. That’s how you avoid delays. That’s how you practice real medicine.

Because great care isn’t just about the first visit…It’s about everything that comes after.

POV: the aftermath of a busy (and very happy) clinic day 🧸✨

Toys on the floor, little giggles still echoing, and tiny patients who came in unsure—but left smiling. That’s exactly how this space was designed.

At Trailblazer Pediatrics, everything is built around making kids feel safe, comfortable, and in control. We take our time here. No rushing, no overwhelm—just a warm, welcoming environment where little ones can ease in, explore, and trust before anything “medical” even begins.

And because I’m not rushing through a packed schedule, I get to do what matters most—spend real, meaningful time with each patient and family 🤍

It also means every room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each visit, so you can feel confident knowing you’re walking into a fresh, clean space (yes, even the toys ✨).

Healthcare doesn’t have to feel scary—and here, it doesn’t.

Eczema is a chronic skin condition—it’s not something you can “cure,” no matter what you see on social media.

Just like asthma or other chronic conditions, eczema is something your child learns to manage over time. And without daily moisturization, it can quickly spiral into flares like this.

As kids get older, it’s so important to keep reminding them (and yes… nagging a little 🙃) to moisturize every single day—especially in dry climates where eczema loves to act up.

You may also see advice online—especially for babies and young children—about eliminating certain foods or drastically changing diets to “fix” eczema. Most of this is not evidence-based, and making those changes without medical guidance can do more harm than good. Always talk with your provider before following trends you see online.

When daily maintenance is skipped, flares can become more severe and sometimes require topical steroids to calm things down.

And a reminder: topical steroids are not the enemy. When used appropriately, they are safe and incredibly effective at getting eczema back under control.

Daily care isn’t optional—it’s the game plan for calmer skin, fewer flares, and happier kiddos 💙

April 2 is World Autism Acceptance Day—and while awareness has grown, true acceptance and inclusion still have a long way to go.

Over the years working in pediatric practices, I’ve seen firsthand how traditional fee-for-service (insurance-based) clinics often aren’t built with neurodivergent children in mind. They’re fast-paced, schedule-driven, and focused on efficiency—meaning kids are often rushed into unfamiliar environments, expected to immediately cooperate, stand on a scale, tolerate vitals, and be examined… all before they’ve had a chance to feel safe or regulated.

For many children with autism or sensory differences, that experience can be overwhelming—not because they’re “difficult,” but because the system isn’t designed for them.

That’s exactly why I’ve built something different.

In my pediatric DPC clinic, Trailblazer Pediatrics, I have the ability to slow things down. To give kids time to explore the space, to build trust, to ease into the visit in a way that respects their individual needs. There’s no pressure to rush, no quotas tied to insurance reimbursements—just real, patient-centered care.

Because sometimes care takes a little longer.
Sometimes it looks different.
And that’s not just okay—it’s exactly what true inclusion in healthcare should be.

This is what it means to meet patients where they are. 🩵

I worked in a system where care was driven by numbers, codes, and coverage—not by what patients truly needed… and that’s where this dream began

💫✂️ This moment felt so surreal. I built this clinic with intention—to do pediatrics differently. Through a Direct Primary Care model, I’m able to provide longer visits, deeper connections, and truly personalized care—without the rush and without the insurance red tape.

Direct Primary Care is one of those things you don’t fully understand you need… until you experience it. It’s not just about the level of care (which is truly next-level), it’s about the access. Having direct, reliable access to your child’s provider—when you need it, how you need it—is something families quickly realize they’ve been missing all along. That small monthly investment becomes worth every penny (and then some) when you experience the peace of mind, the convenience, and the relationship that comes with it.

I’m beyond grateful for my family, a few close friends, and my incredibly loyal patients who showed up to celebrate and support this dream. You are the heart behind everything I’m building, and it means more than I can express 🤍

A heartfelt thank you to the for hosting such a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, to Marisa from .a.s._charcuterie for the beautiful spread, and to the amazing community partners who came out to support a clinic rooted in community—

A special thank you to .roldan.17 for your unwavering support—even from afar—it truly means so much.

Huge gratitude to those who contributed to the incredible raffle: from from Queen Cluckers Homestead, and —your generosity made the day even more memorable.

And last but certainly not least, Teresa .byt —thank you for capturing this moment so beautifully. These are memories I’ll cherish forever.

This is just the beginning… and I’m so honored to care for your little ones in a way that feels intentional, connected, and truly different.
