Are you suffering from coccyx pain? It could be due to loss of normal flexion/extension motion in the sacrococcygeal joint. If the tailbone becomes stuck or dislocated, it looses its ability to flex forward when you sit on a chair, causing the tailbone to poke into the seat. Smooth flexion/extension motion is important for pain free living!
