One thing patients don’t always think about before a tummy tuck? Tattoos. 👀

In this case, a large portion of her stomach tattoo was actually removed during surgery, along with the excess skin. And because the belly button was repositioned as part of the procedure, the remaining tattoo may appear to have shifted positions.

The good news is that if you end up with a partially altered tattoo after surgery, we do offer laser tattoo removal options right here in the office as well! ⚡️

Every tummy tuck is customized, and details like existing tattoos are definitely something we discuss during the planning process.
