PHAB is adding a new "Narrative Writing for Reaccreditation" 45-minute course to our core offerings, focused on writing narratives for departments working towards Reaccreditation. Topics include best practices for writing narratives, when to choose a narrative vs. documentation, and ways to help team members write narratives. The class is optional (see dates below).

“Achieving Accreditation, Reaccreditation, or Pathways Recognition is a significant accomplishment that reflects the dedication of public health departments to strengthening their systems, improving performance, and serving their communities well,” said PHAB President and CEO, Joneigh S. Khaldun, MD, MPH, FACEP. “We commend these departments for their commitment to meeting rigorous national standards and to the ongoing work of quality improvement. Their achievements demonstrate the strength of public health departments and the important role they play in building stronger public health infrastructure.”

Congratulations to the 12 health departments and one vital records/health statistics unit for achieving and/or maintaining national public health Accreditation and Waukesha County Public Health for achieving Pathways Recognition.
