On Tuesday you pay your ancestors. For the work they they did during their time on Earth, for their giving, to honor them.

In discussing ancestor altars, a client asked yesterday “what do you do with the money when the cup is full?”

Great question.

I carry it with me to give to those in need. Or I collect it and donate it to charity. I am unclear as to the ancestor practice of “what to do with it when the cup is full” - you empty it weekly, but my heart tells me to donate it.

Trauma causes a breakdown in communication between our mind and body. Our nervous system becomes unregulated due to stress and other factors, and we no longer feel safe within our own bodies - dissociation.

Somatic bodywork, shamanic healing, energy work, massage therapy, and more can help break this cycle and re-build your connection to yourself and your soul.

A lot of clients ask me "what do you study?" Or if I am attending/teaching at an event, clients are often curious about the event and why I chose it.

In September, I will be attending the Women's Herbal Gathering in Kempton, PA for 3 days. It is a wonderful community of herbalists, healers, makers, and dreamers that come together to celebrate Women's wellness, sacred healing, and love of our planet through plant medicine.

This year is special because an elder within the plant medicine community will be guest speaking. She is incredible and jam-packed with deep wisdom.
