Nurse Sherri (The Green Nurse) had the privilege of moderating an incredible conversation with fellow healthcare leaders about one of the most important topics facing healthcare right now: cannabis and the realities of Schedule III.
Together, the panel explored what cannabis rescheduling could mean for nurses, healthcare professionals, healthcare systems, and most importantly, patients. They discussed patient safety, stigma, documentation, care coordination, nursing education, and the urgent need for healthcare infrastructure that supports informed cannabinoid care.
One message was clear: patients are already using cannabis. The question is whether healthcare is prepared to see it, document it, learn from it, and integrate it into safe, evidence-informed care.
Cannabis is not a commodity. It's clinical.
We extend our gratitude to fellow presenters Drudys Ledbetter, Elisabeth Mack, and Meghan Zaklin for sharing their expertise and passion for advancing patient care.
Watch the replay and join the conversation. The future of cannabis nursing is being written right now.
