We're bringing back our Qigong-style workshops this autumn — and the first one is coming up on Wednesday, September 2nd! Sign up below to join us for an hour (6 - 7 PM) of calming and strengthening movement, meditation, and breathwork.

Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice with a very long list of health benefits, including:
→ Improved balance and coordination
→ Better sleep quality
→ Reduced stress and anxiety
→ Improved flexibility and mobility
+ Lots more!

We hope to see you there!

This workshop is an opportunity for participants to engage in gentle movement and meditation inspired by the traditional Chinese practice of Qigong. In this class, our instructor will guide participants through slow, flowing body movements, deep rhythmic breathing, and calming meditation.

*This* is how we feel now that the 2026-2027 school year has begun! This week and next, summer vacation comes to an end, and our education partners in the Lehigh Valley are opening their doors to students of all ages.

This means that our in-class mindfulness programming isn't far behind! Until our own instructors head back into classrooms, we want to send our best wishes to the students, educators, administrators, parents, and caretakers out there. 🤞 Best of luck for a successful and mindful school year — and see you soon!

Today, here's what we're grateful for: our community members who joined us earlier this week for A Moment of Gratitude!

This recent session centered around affirmations. Together, we reflected on how to use them to "notice the good" while practicing mindfulness.

About the session, our instructor Annie said: "I’m really grateful to be together with those attending the sessions. I’m learning that we each are mindful in our own ways. Some knit, crochet. Some have nightly routines. Some walk their dog. All very mindful, being present and noticing."

It doesn't matter how you show up mindfully — as long as you do! We hope to see you soon at our next gratitude session (or another program at our Easton hub).

We recently had the pleasure of leading two mindfulness sessions at F.A. March Elementary School's Camp Leopard! A handwritten note, along with these flowers, served as a sweet "thank you" to our instructor Annie for teaching mindfulness to incoming kindergarten students. As always, big thanks to our friends at March Elementary for having us!

Stop scrolling! ✋ It's time for a quick 3-2-1 focus activity. This mindfulness exercise uses your senses of sight, hearing, and touch to notice the present moment.

Ready to feel grounded? First, find your mindful body in a chair or on the floor: sit back, relax your shoulders, and keep your eyes open. Then follow along to the graphic below!

Once your 3-2-1 steps have been completed, take stock of your body. Has your heart rate slowed down? Is your breathing deeper? Has your mind stopped racing?

During the 2025-2026 school year, we brought mindfulness programing to a total of 203 classrooms: our widest reach to date! This number has nearly doubled since 2024, when we served 109 classrooms.

Over the past year, our instructors have taught invaluable social and emotional skills to 4,100+ students, empowering our young community members to navigate stressful situations and cope with challenges for years to come. These stats also reflect that we served ALL schools in the Easton Area School District, as well as EVERY kindergarten and fifth grade student in the Bethlehem Area School District.

Seeing these numbers is exciting, inspiring, and heartening beyond words! We look forward to sharing more soon, once we finish processing outcome data from all 2025-2026 programming. But for now, let's celebrate! 🥳
