Today I traded an hour in the car for a few hours of girl time, skincare, and confidence… and it was SO worth it! 💗

I headed an hour east to spend the afternoon with Tracy, who just so happens to have been ’s kindergarten and third-grade teacher. What a sweet full-circle moment!

One of the sweetest parts of today was getting to spend some time with my client, Ms. Harris. ❤️

About a year ago, Ms. Harris moved to my hometown from Wynne, Arkansas. Before she ever packed a box, a friend got on the Mary Kay website to find her a consultant in her new hometown… and my name popped up first. She laughed today as she showed me the paper where she had written my name and phone number in big, bold letters so she would be able to see.

Ms. Harris moved here to help care for her older sister, who is living with dementia. That meant leaving behind the town she’d called home her whole life… her church family, her friends, and the people who used to help drive her wherever she needed to go. Her eyesight isn’t what it used to be, and getting out has become a challenge.

Knowing she doesn’t see well, I popped by to check in on her and the new products she had ordered. She couldn’t quite tell which bottle was which. As we were talking through the skincare, she shared that what she really missed was being able to go to Walmart and just take her time walking the aisles.

So I told her, “Ms. Charlotte, I would love to take you every week! When do you want to go? She told me that she gets her hair done on Wednesdays and now we have a new standing date!

Not for a facial.
Not for a makeover.
Just because sometimes the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.

Y’all, this is why I’m so thankful for this business. Mary Kay isn’t just about lipstick and skincare. It’s about people. It’s about relationships. It’s about having the freedom to love on others in simple, meaningful ways.

Jesus calls us to love our neighbors and to serve one another. Today, I’m grateful that this business gives me the opportunity to do exactly that. And I have a feeling Wednesdays at Walmart with Ms. Harris are going to become one of my favorite appointments. 🤍

I may have lost the race, but I am NOT beat. 🇺🇸

First and foremost — thank you. Thank you for your support, your encouragement, your prayers, your signs in your yards, and your belief in me. This was never just about one election — it’s about continuing to show up and serve.

➡️ Please do not destroy your yard signs! I’m saving them for future use. I’ll be at the Republican Party of Crawford County meeting next Tuesday evening and at the March meeting of the Crawford County Conservatives (COS) to collect them. I’m also happy to coordinate porch pick-ups case by case.

I’ll be out over the next week collecting large signs and t-posts as well. Thank you to everyone who hosted a sign and is helping return them!

And now… it’s time to get back to my “real job” 💄✨
