"Which one is better — PRP or umbilical cord?"
Wrong question.
PRP and umbilical cord biologics are both regenerative medicine, but they're not the same tool. They come from different sources, carry different collagen profiles, and do their best work in different patients.
PRP is made from your own blood. Studies consistently show it works — and it tends to work best in younger, healthier patients whose biology is already in good shape.
Umbilical cord-derived biologics carry a broader collagen profile — Types 1, 2, and 3 — plus growth factors and signaling molecules. For older patients, more significant tissue damage, or anti-inflammatory use, that wider profile may support a more complete response.
Neither is "better." Both are useful tools.
The right question isn't which one wins. It's which one your body actually needs.
That's what an honest consultation is for.
