Why are men avoiding these important health warnings.

06/10/2026

Sometimes in life, we’re going to come face to face with things that feel too big for us.

Things that look impossible.

Things that make us pause at the top of the stairs wondering if we’re even capable of making it through.

But this video reminded me of something powerful…

We were never meant to do life alone.

As I watched Lelo carefully try to come down the stairs, I noticed something beautiful. Bruce and Lola never left him. They stayed close. They encouraged him. They waited for him. They surrounded him until he made it to the very last step.

And honestly… that’s what we all need.

We need people who will pray for us when we’re weak.

People who will encourage us when fear starts talking louder than faith.

People who will remind us who we are when we forget.
People who will lovingly hold us accountable and refuse to let us quit.

And most importantly, we need to stay connected to our Creator, the One who already knows the path ahead, who sees what we cannot see, and who reminds us through His word that we already have everything we need to overcome.

What feels insurmountable today will not defeat you.

One step at a time… you’re going to make it down the stairs too. 🤍

If this message encouraged you as it did for leave a 💛 in the comments.

Hey Sis 🤍

You cannot keep giving everybody your energy while abandoning yourself.

Pouring from an empty cup looks like:
✨ Smiling while silently struggling
✨ Being available for everybody but yourself
✨ Running on caffeine, stress, and survival mode
✨ Ignoring your exhaustion because “people need you”
✨ Feeling emotionally numb, overstimulated, and disconnected from YOU

Sis…
Rest is not laziness.
Boundaries are not selfish.
And constantly sacrificing yourself is not a badge of honor.

A lot of women have mastered showing up for everyone else while quietly falling apart behind closed doors.

Your body will eventually force you to slow down if you keep ignoring the warning signs:
⚠️ Brain fog
⚠️ Irritability
⚠️ Anxiety
⚠️ Sleep issues
⚠️ Hormonal shifts
⚠️ Burnout
⚠️ Emotional exhaustion

You deserve care too.
You deserve softness too.
You deserve support too.

This season is not about proving how much you can carry.
It’s about learning how to carry yourself with care.

Sis… when was the last time you truly rested without guilt?

Drop a 🤍 if this spoke to you.

The things me won't talk about but should.

06/02/2026

Hey Sis 🤍

Can we talk about this for a moment?

One of the most damaging things women hear is:

“Your labs are normal.”

Meanwhile… you’re exhausted. You’re not sleeping well. You’re overstimulated. Your emotions feel all over the place. You can’t focus like you used to. And honestly… you just don’t feel like yourself.

Sis… that matters.

Too many women are silently struggling while trying to continue showing up for everybody else. Working. Taking care of families. Managing households. Smiling through exhaustion. Ignoring what their body is trying to say because they’ve been taught to push through.

But hear me… normal labs do not always equal optimal wellness.

And just because your symptoms aren’t being fully acknowledged does not mean your experience isn’t real.

Your body is communicating. Your hormones matter. Your mental and emotional wellness matter too.
You deserve to be heard. You deserve support. And you deserve healthcare conversations that do not make you feel dismissed.

Sis! If you’ve been feeling this way lately, just comment:

Hey Sis 🤍

Let’s be honest…

Your body is exhausted because your nervous system has been carrying things your mouth refuses to say out loud.

You keep saying yes…
when you really want to say no.

You keep overextending yourself…
then wondering why you’re irritated, overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and running on empty.

Sis…
stress, resentment, people pleasing, lack of rest, constantly being available for everybody else…
THAT impacts your body too.

And during perimenopause and menopause?
Your body becomes less tolerant of the things that are draining you.

Healing isn’t always green juice and bubble baths.

Sometimes healing looks like:
“No.”
“Not right now.”
“I can’t do that.”
“That no longer works for me.”

And if boundaries make people uncomfortable…

let them be uncomfortable.

What’s ONE thing you need to say NO to this week?
Drop it in the comments Sis 👇🏽

Hey Sis…

You cannot heal while living in survival mode.

Some of us have been stressed, overwhelmed, exhausted, and pushing through for so long that we forgot what feeling healthy actually feels like.

And during perimenopause and menopause?
That survival mode hits differently.

The fatigue.
The weight gain.
The anxiety.
The irritability.
The sleepless nights.

Sis, your body is not betraying you… it’s talking to you.

This is your sign to stop pouring from an empty cup and start prioritizing YOU.

Rest.
Hydrate.
Move your body.
Protect your peace.
Schedule the appointment.

Because surviving is not the same as living. 🤍
